AbstractAbstract
[en] Objective: In order to explore the health status of the retired radiation workers in our institute, medical followup was performed on those who received large doses of radiation. Methods: A health survey and analysis on the physical fitness of 138 retired workers of the Institute of Radiation Medicine of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (hereinafter referred to as the Institute of Radiology) was conducted, and the medical follow-up analysis of the large dose of 5 people according to the recommendations of GBZ/T163 was carried out. Results: The prevalence of radiation-related tumors was significantly higher in the five who received higher doses than in other retirees, and the patients who received higher doses than other retired radiation workers had basically the same conditions in the hematopoietic system, Immune System, endocrine system, reproductive system, and eye exams. Conclusions: The incidence rate of tumor in the workers who received high dose radiation was obviously higher than that of other retirees, and other health check-ups were basically the same.
