[en] With the help of the layer-by-layer spectral analysis method the coefficients of the hydrogen diffusion in the titanium and zirconium alloys at the temperature, close to the room temperature, have been determined. It is shown that the coefficients of the hydrogen diffusion in the titanium and zirconium alloys at room temperature depend to a great extent on the structure and stability of the phases. In the alloys having a more complicated composition the diffusion coefficient is also higher. The obtained results are in conformity with the data, available in literature

[en] Structure formation process is traced on thin arc sprayed films of Ti, Zr, Nb and Cr nitrides. The fuilms from all studied nitrides with thickness less than 30 nm have (111) texture. With ZrN and NbN film thickness growth a tendency to disorientation is observed. Multilayer condensates consisting of ZrN, NbN or CrN with TiN interlayers are studied. Condensates microhardness increases with increase of interphase boundaries number

[en] The structures and microhardness of (Ti, Al)N, (Ti, Zr)N, (Ti, Nb)N and (Ti, Cr)N films sputtered by the arc method are investigated. As compared to films produced by the magnetron-sputtering method, the investigated samples, prepared by the ion-plasma method, turned out to be harder and to maintain nonequilibrium up to higher temperatures. The composition of doped films is to be clarified in the future in terms of metal and nonmetal components

[en] Fuel elements with cermet fuel are designed and the technology for their manufacturing is developed. The fuel elements of two types are tested in the MIR reactor: 1) the elements with metallurgical provision of a cermet fuel pin-cladding contact (brazing); 2) the elements with a cladding tightly pressed to a cermet pin (rolling). The test results show successful operation of the first type fuel elements with the fuel consisting of uranium dioxide powder, dispersed in a matrix of zirconium base or aluminium base alloy. All fuel elements of the second type appear to be leaking

Разработаны конструкция твэлов с керметным топливом и технология их изготовления. В реакторе МИР проведены испытания твэлов двух типов: 1) с металлургическим обеспечением контакта керметного топливного сердечника и оболочки (пайка); 2) с плотным прижатием оболочки к керметному сердечнику (прокатка). Результаты испытаний показали успешную работу твэлов первого типа с топливом, представляющим собой порошок диоксида урана в матрице из сплавов на основе циркония или алюминия.
