AbstractAbstract
[en] The yields of 25 residual nuclei from a 118Sn target exposed to bremsstrahlung with maximum energy 4.5 GeV have been measured by the activation method. Data on the isomeric ratios of nine isomeric pairs are discussed. The production of high-spin states in photodisintegration reactions is analyzed according to the cascade-evaporation model, with inclusion of other mechanisms of production of high-spin states. Parameters of the spin cutoff and the number of emitted γ rays are estimated from the experimental isomeric ratios in simple reactions by using the Huizenga-Vandenbosch statistical formalism. The average cross sections for the 118Sn (γ,pxn)In reaction in the energy range 0.8-4.5 GeV are calculated with a rectangular approximation for the bremsstrahlung spectrum. 16 refs., 3 figs., 2 tabs

[en] The dependence of the energy spectra of protons escaping at angles θ>90 deg in π-C interactions at 5 GeV/c on the multiplicity and other characteristics of accompanying particles is investigated. It is shown that spectra drop considerably faster in the peripherical type interactions. The mechanism of quasideuteron π+ meson absorption is characterized by more hard spectrum. 13 refs.; 5 figs
