[en] 2.88 m length precision solenoid with 4 kGs peak field, designed for conducting investigations into electron cooling as well as for UNK antiproton source, is developed. A sharpened solenoid option, comprising similar sections is chosen. The section juncture is performed in such a way 80 that not to distruct the geometrical shape of of the spiral, i.e. the first turn of the second section is the geometrical continuation of the last turn of the first section. The solenoid cooling circuit is parallel. Water inlet and outlet are located in the beginning and in the end of the section. Magnetic measurement results are presented. The force line root-mean-square deviations in the vertical and horizontal planes are respectively equal to ≅ 4x10-5 and 5x10-5 rad
