AbstractAbstract
[en] Spontaneous chemiluminescence of blood serum in animals and man reacts to the effect of ionizing radiation by an oscillation reaction. The height of spontaneous chelmiluminescence maximum does not correlate with radiation dose; but with the growth of total irradiation dose, the time of its appearance shifts from 7 days (1 Gy) to 3 (2 Gy), 2 (6 Gy), 1 (8 Gy), several minutes (16 Gy). Two waves of reduction in spontaneous chemiluminescence of blood serum coincide in time with the administration of increased amounts of glucocorticoids, catecholamines and other biologically active substances in circulation. Radiation effect rats with with transplanted 45 sarcoma and Geren carcinoma, as well as radiation therapy of oncological patients, produces the normalizing effect on spontaneous chemiluminescnece of blood serum, irrespective of the nature of effect of the tumor process. The main role is played by the degree of radiation tumor destruction. Sponstaneous chemiluminescence of blood serum in the norm depend on age (it is minimum in mature age) and on sex (it is lower in females). Effects accompanied by the increase of glucocortiocoid and catechol-amine incretion reduce intensity of spontaneous chemiluminescence of blood serum

AbstractAbstract
[en] Peculiarities of spontaneous chemiluminescence (SCL) in the norm were studied and SCL kinetics depending on the dose of ionizing radiation and irradiation rhythm was analyzed, taking into account reaction on the part of regulation systems. It is shown that the study of SL in blood serum and blood cells presents a new highly sensitive and informative method of the study of organism state, its reactivity, the gravity of pathological process (including radiation injury), effectiveness of prophylactic and medicinal means and forecasting of the disease. The application of the method in complex with the existing methods of diagnosis, gravity evaluation and forecasting of radiation and other injuries can provide objective information, expand the possibilities of choice and evaluation of the efficiency of prophylactic and medicinal means

AbstractAbstract
[en] The role of glucocorticoids and insulin in the radiation injury mechanism of energy metabolism is studied. The study of the effect of a physiological antagonist of insulin corticosteroids on radiation and hydrocortisone oppression of oxidizing phosphorylation and a fund of adenylic nucleotides has permitted to estimate the role of reactive hyperproducts of insulin in an irradiated organism and prove the possibility of using them as a correction mean for experimental radiation injuries of energy metabolism. Confirmations are given that radiation resistance can be considered as manifestation of general nonspecific resistance of the organism increasing under effect of injected antioxidants and development of anoxia adaptation
