[en] The authors report the assessment of the local control and relapse rates in a set of 70 patients who had been treated in 2004 and 2005 by radiotherapy associated or not with chemotherapy for a cervical cancer of stage IIbd, III or IVa according to the FIGO classification. [en] Salivary duct carcinomas are scarce tumour developed mainly in the male in the 6. or 7. decades of their life. Authors report two new cases developed 43 and 60 years-old in females. Because this tumour was localised, a radical treatment associating surgery and radiotherapy was performed. Follow-up were 115 and 137 months, and the two patients remain free of disease. These two cases were opportunity to discuss literature data. (author)

[en] The tumor of Askin is characterized by its aggressiveness and her unfavourable prognostic. There is no therapeutic consensus, so there is an interest to include the patients in multi centric therapeutic essays to have codified attitudes. (N.C.)

It is also useful to treat the tumor recurrences, in this case the reirradiation stays the only efficient therapy option to give a correct local control. The reirradiation, exclusive or in association with other therapies can contribute to the local control of cavum cancer recurrences with a survival rate at five years of 36 to 58%. (N.C.)

[en] The objective of this was to evaluate the contribution of concomitant chemoradiotherapy in the treatment of locally evolved larynx carcinomas. The results of the series are comparable to these ones got by several studies. The concomitant chemoradiotherapy tends to give a good local control with the advantage of organ conservation, at the price of an acceptable toxicity.The improvement of larynx cancer prognostic is through an early diagnosis but the fight against smoking constitutes the only means of prevention. [en] The authors report the assessment of the local control, global survival and survival without recurrence, and also late complications, based on retrospective study over 8 years of 169 cases Hodgkin lymphoma in patients older than 18 (average age of 34) and who had been submitted to radiotherapy. Survival has been computed according to the Kaplan-Meier method. The authors notice that the recurrence rate is slightly higher than in the literature. During the considered period, radiotherapy was two-dimensional with higher doses than those corresponding to current standards. The improvement of radiotherapy techniques and the decrease of doses within the standards should improve the therapeutic results. Short communication
