AbstractAbstract
[en] Communication interface between embedded CPU and two channel data acquisition systems was implemented based on FPGA. These two channel data acquisition systems were 220 meters away and the peak data rate was 24Mbps per channel. FPGA was used to expand embedded CPU's MII (Media Independent Interface) into two MII which worked at a nonstandard bit rate (40Mbps), communicated with two long range Ethernet transceiver and received data from these two channel data acquisition systems. The data was merged by FPGA and transmitted to embedded CPU through CPU's MII. The whole logic design was implemented in Xilinx's XC3S100E device, verified on the hardware test platform based on an ARM chip (S3C4510B) and worked well in practice. (authors)

[en] Based on Methods to identify and locate spent radiation, sources (IAEA-TECDOC-804) and the related knowledge of authors, the search methods for the location-unknown spent radiation sources are described (including collecting and analyzing the information about the spent radiation sources before searching), and the considerations during searching are discussed. AbstractAbstract
[en] A simplified two-dimensional (2-D) magneto-optical trap (MOT) for loading atoms into a 3-D MOT is realized. Instead of utilizing multiple wave plates and beam splitters to cover a large cooling region, we deploy cooling beams with elliptical cross-section profiles to achieve a comparable cooling volume. This simplification reduces the cost and difficulty of alignment. The 3-D MOT achieves a loading rate of 2 × 108 atoms per second via this simplified 2-D MOT. Correlation between the loading rate and parameters of optical system is also determined. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] In present paper, the method of processing the singular points of γ energy spectrum was established by using Lipschitz exponent and wavelet transform. The principle of modulus maximum denoising and the alternating projection reconstruction algorithm proposed by Mallat were analyzed, and the processing model of γ ray energy spectrum data was established. The wavelet transform modulus maximum denoising software was designed based on MATLAB, and the method was simulated and analyzed with the actual-measurement γ ray energy spectrum data. The results show that the method using wavelet transform and alternating projection is good at noise reduction and reconstructing the energy spectrum data. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] As the use of private protocols becomes popular in distributed data acquisition system, it is urgent to test interfaces of these systems. The interfaces cannot be tested by general communication protocol testing equipment, so a simple strategy of how to develop an efficient custom interface testing system with a testing module based on PC is proposed. In this paper, we focus on the design and implementation of how to realize an interface testing module based on ARM. Analyses of the interface characteristics, basic structure and software processes of the interface testing module, and application method of interface testing with the PC and the interface testing module, are discussed. Experimental results show that the custom interface testing system well meets the testing requirements. This proposes a way to do a rapid development of custom interface testing systems. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] In the present paper, we suggest a convenient model for the vector ρ-meson longitudinal leading-twist distribution amplitude ϕ_2_;_ρ"‖, whose distribution is controlled by a single parameter B_2_;_ρ"‖. By choosing proper chiral current in the correlator, we obtain new light-cone sum rules (LCSR) for the B→ρ TFFs A_1, A_2 and V, in which the δ"1-order ϕ_2_;_ρ"‖ provides dominant contributions. Then we make a detailed discussion on the ϕ_2_;_ρ"‖ properties via those B→ρ TFFs. A proper choice of B_2_;_ρ"‖ can make all the TFFs agree with the lattice QCD predictions. A prediction of |V_u_b| has also been presented by using the extrapolated TFFs, which indicates that a larger B_2_;_ρ"‖ leads to a larger |V_u_b|. To compare with the BABAR data on |V_u_b|, the longitudinal leading-twist DA ϕ_2_;_ρ"‖ prefers a doubly-humped behavior

AbstractAbstract
[en] An improved quasi-static method based on the theory of predictor-corrector was adopted to solve the problem of neutron space-time kinetics. Shape function was generated from the predictor neutron fluence rate which was obtained through implicit difference method. The iterative computation of shape function would be avoided. The predicted neutron fluence rate would be corrected according to the amplitude function and then the final distribution of neutron fluence rate could be obtained. The results show that its computing speed is much faster than that of ordinary improved quasi-static method if the time interval is long enough, and the precision of results is high enough. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] There exists a strong prompt radiation field with special time structure and space distribution in the linac tunnel. It consists of Bremsstrahlung and neutrons. To obtain the 3D radiation field distribution at the important positions, the Alanine/ESR method is selected. It is significant for understanding the accelerator operation state and the organic material damage caused by the integral radiation dose. The radiation field in the klystron gallery mainly comes from the klystrons. It varies because of the different parameters of each klystron. Since the radiation level is not very high, the operators can be allowed to enter the gallery with permission. The gallery gates are considered as the bypass interlock points. The author introduces the radiation field characteristics of the linac tunnel and klystron gallery, and describes and measurement method and results as well

AbstractAbstract
[en] The optical absorption properties of graphene-wrapped dielectric particles have been investigated within the framework of the Mie theory. It is shown that subwavelength strong absorption in infrared spectra can take place in such systems due to the excitation of plasmon resonance in graphene. The absorption characteristics and efficiency are tunable by either varying the Fermi level and the damping constant of graphene, or by changing the size and the dielectric constant of small particles. These characteristics also depend on the separation distance between particles in the cluster. These extreme light resonances and absorptions in graphene-wrapped nanostructures have great potential for optoelectronic devices. (paper)
