AbstractAbstract
[en] Contributions to this day on the use of thermal solar installations (on building or for injection into a heat network) are proposed under the form of Power Point presentations. More precisely, after a general introduction with an overview of recent events in the energy sector, the authors address the renewal of the thermal solar sector (financial aspects, the SOCOL approach, performance markets), the development of solar energy in territories (study in Hauts-de-France, of support arrangements, large projects), the implementation of a regional support, an installation in an establishment for elderly and dependent people, a return on experience from a heat network with storage, the role of thermal solar in heat networks, the implementation of a new project (a heat network in Chateaubriant), and the innovative use of solar energy to produce cold

AbstractAbstract
[en] The aim of this guide is to help companies tackle the issue of adapting to climate change, an essential step in guaranteeing the sustainability and continuity of their activities. The examples of 30 French companies show that it is possible to embark on an adaptation process, whatever the size or sector of activity. Structured around the logic of an adaptation journey, the guide presents examples of adaptation actions, assessment approaches, strategy development and monitoring and evaluation processes, rooted in the real-time experience of the sample companies. The guide also provides theoretical and methodological elements to help better understand the issues at stake, and to identify the best practices and tools to mobilise throughout the process

AbstractAbstract
[en] ADEME Hauts-de-France in partnership with the Prefecture, the 'Conseil Regional', the 'Commissariat Special a la Reindustrialisation' and the CCIR has undertaken to explore energy transition scenarios extending the work initiated in 2013 by the Master Plan of the Third Industrial Revolution on Nord-Pas de Calais to the whole Region. This report, which complements the 'Energy Scenarios Proposal' prepared by the Energies Demain - Enerdata consortium, presents the results of a quantification of the impacts on employment of these scenarios, using the TETE tool developed by CIRED for the Climate Action Network and ADEME. The report also examines in more detail four specific domains to identify the training problems posed by the energy transition: methanization, electric mobility, electricity storage - hydrogen and bio-based building materials. Amongst the three scenarios the 'strong regional autonomy' scenario has the greatest positive impact on employment, due to the maximum development of renewable energies. The impact on employment of the 'optimized production and sobriety' scenario is relatively limited due to the sharp fall in non-residential construction and passenger transport, which result of the development of tele-working. In the third scenario of 'weak regional autonomy', the search for energy autonomy excludes large industrial facilities; the development of renewable energies is less important and the employment impact is intermediate between the two previous scenarios. With regard to the assessment of training needs resulting from the analysis of the four specific domains, the main conclusion is that the rapid development of methanization will translate in the relatively short term into a significant training need for engineers and technicians / operators specialised in methanization. For the other domains, needs are longer term and could be in part satisfied internally or on an ad hoc basis by equipment suppliers. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] In 2013, the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region elaborated a Master Plan to implement concretely the 'Third Industrial Revolution' (TRI) - now formalized under the name of REV3-. This Master Plan aimed to reduce by 60 % the final energy consumption by 2050 and to cover 100 % of this demand by local renewable energies. To continue and amplify this strategy, ADEME Hauts-de-France, in partnership with the Prefecture, the REV3 Mission, the Regional Council and the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, decided to provide new scenarios to extend the ambitions of the Master Plan to the new region Hauts-de-France. Three scenarios are proposed in this study: 'weak regional autonomy', 'strong regional autonomy', 'optimized production and energy sufficiency'. All three are based on the same fundamentals: energy sufficiency, energy efficiency and renewable energies, used to varying degrees. TRI leads to the transition from a massively centralized, waste-generating and fossil-based energy system to a largely decentralized, more efficient and renewable-based energy system. Initial ambition and objectives can be achieved under certain conditions, including: - Promote a sufficient use of energy (e.g. working on the urban organization to limit the needs of transport); - Initiate now energy demand management actions, particularly in the building sector; - Massively exploit all renewable energies.
