AbstractAbstract
[en] The radiation and weather monitoring system (KRS system) of nuclear power plants is used to monitor whether there are abnormal changes of the environmental gamma dose rate in the plant and its surroundings. From the time and frequency of occurrence, and the trend of fluctuations, through analysis and experimental verification, we confirmed that dose rate data fluctuations of the AS4 sub-sites of the KRS system in a nuclear power plant are caused by radiographic inspection activities in 3MX and 4MX workshops. AbstractAbstract
[en] Objective: To study and analyze the significance of the changes of plasma level of neuropeptide (NPY) in the patients with chronic hepatic disease. Methods: The plasma levels of NPY were determined by radioimmunoassay (RIA) in 17 chronic hepatitis patients, 48 hepatic cirrhosis patients and 21 healthy controls. 48 patients with hepatic cirrhosis were divided into three groups: hepatic cirrhosis without ascites (n= 25), hepatic cirrhosis with ascites but without hepatorenal syndrome (HRS) (n=19), hepatic cirrhosis with HRS (n= 4). 48 hepatic cirrhosis patients were also divided into another three groups according to liver function: Child A (n=20), Child B (n=16), Child C (n=12). Results: Compared with healthy controls, the plasma levels of NPY in chronic hepatitis patients and hepatic cirrhosis patients without ascites had not significant statistical difference (P>0.05); but plasma levels of NPY in patients with hepatic cirrhosis and ascites or those with HRS had significant difference (P<0.05). No correlation was found between plasma level of NPY and liver function, but the plasma level of NPY was correlated directly with plasma levels of BUN and Cr (r=0.872, P< O.01; r=0.857, P<0.01). Conclusion: The determination of plasma level of NPY in patients with chronic hepatic disease may be one of important indexes in evaluation of disease and prognosis. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The trend of inert gas radioactivity level inside NPP containment was forecasted, using operating data in normal and abnormal working conditions (or accident). It was then validated with online monitoring data. This provides an important anticipation to the safe and stable operation of the nuclear power. When an abnormal event or accident happens, the response decision can be taken with the forecast data used. In this paper, combined the actual operation data of NPP, a prediction method of inert gas radioactivity level inside the containment is briefly summarized. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] A composite ratiometric fluorescent probe is described for visual detection of melamine (MEL) in milk samples. It is based on the use of red emitting and green emitting CdTe quantum dots, and a mesoporous molecularly imprinted polymer. The red emitting QDs are embedded in the silica microsphere to serve as a core, and the green emitting QDs are coated on the surface of the silica microsphere as a shell. A molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) with specific recognition sites for MEL was placed on the shell. If MEL is bound by the MIP, the green fluorescence is quenched due to hydrogen bond interaction. The red emission, in contrast, remains unchanged. Quenching leads to a change in the color of fluorescence from red-green to purely red. This effect allows for visual and instrumental detection of MEL. The mesoporous structure of the MIP reduces the mass transfer resistance and enhances the accessibility of sites for MEL. Response is linear in the 50–1000 ng mL−1 MEL concentration range, and the limit of detection is 13 ng mL−1. The fluorescent probe was successfully applied to the analysis of MEL-spiked milk samples and gave recoveries between 94.1 and 98.7%, with 3.6–5.1% relative standard deviations. .

AbstractAbstract
[en] By combining a 1030W total carbon analyzer and a 3180 liquid scintillation counter, a method for measuring l4C in NPP liquid effluents was established. It was achieved by using the total carbon analyzer to have the carbon in sample acidized and oxidized to carbon dioxide, which was then absorbed with a sodium hydroxide solution, and succeeded by liquid scintillation measurement. The method can effectively eliminate interference from other radionuclides, and can accurately determine 14C activity in the sample. The results show that its overall average recovery was 96.91%, detection limit was 2.07 Bq/L, and, the precision (relative standard deviation) and accuracy (relative error) of measurement results was less than ±5% respectively. AbstractAbstract
[en] The elastic wave propagation in periodic beams with the propagating disturbance is investigated. The effects of the disturbance on the wave propagation in periodic beams are studied. A propagating wave (disturbance) is incident upon the discontinuity and gives rise to transmitted and reflected waves. All of the transmitted and reflected waves of given flexural wave incident upon the beam at some location are found and superposed using the multiple reflections approach. The relation between the wave-field of incident wave (disturbance) and the wave-field of resulting waves on any segment is expressed. Much attention is devoted to the response in the frequency ranges with gaps in the band structure for the corresponding periodic beams with the disturbance. The numerical results of the frequency response function of finite periodic beams with propagating disturbance are presented. With the increase disturbance amplitude, the attenuation of the band gaps gradually decreases. The effects of the number of cells and material parameters on the band gap are also considered

AbstractAbstract
[en] The inert gas monitoring results are generally lower than the detection limit on normal operating conditions, if relevant monitoring results lower than the detection limit, half of its emissions by statistical detection limit may overestimated the annual emissions. By determining activity proportional relationship of 85Kr and 133Xe, when the 85Kr of maximumhalf-life in the inert gas source term was less than the detection limit, its activity concentration can estimate indirectly. Thus the annual emissions statistics of 85Kr can obtained more objectively. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] With the rapid development of information technology in enterprise application, industrial control network and management network is becoming more and more closely linked. Development and application of special equipment control system from the traditional industrial control system, not considered when designing communication security problem mainly, therefore, the industrial control system opened at the same time, isolation control system and the outside was weakened, the safety problems of industrial control system had become more and more serious. The practical application combined with the special equipment control system, analysis and elaboration in view of security problems for the control network, also, provide appropriate security solutions for professional characteristics of industrial control network, design on process control system specially, provide security partition protection scheme, in order to improve security ability of industrial control system information. AbstractAbstract
[en] Development and industrial application of special equipment plays an important role in the development of nuclear energy process. Equipment development process need to do a lot of tests, amplitude detection is a key test,it can analysis the device's electromechanical and physical properties. In the industrial application, the amplitude detection can effectively reflect the operational status of the current equipment, the equipment can also be a certain degree of fault diagnosis, identify problems in a timely manner. The main development target in this article is amplitude detection of special equipment. This article describes the development of special equipment amplitude detection instrument. The instrument uses a digital signal processor (DSP) as the central processing unit, and uses the DSP + CPLD + high-speed AD technology to build a complete set of high-precision signal acquisition and analysis processing systems, rechargeable lithium battery as the powered device. It can do a online monitoring of special equipment amplitude, speed parameters by acquiring and analysing the tachometer signal in the special equipment, and locally display through the LCD screen.
