AbstractAbstract
[en] Using oscillation method in a wide range of temperatures and concentrations, viscosity of molten mixtures of sodium and uranium fluorides is studied. Relative deviations of molar viscosity from perfection are calculated. The use of molar viscosity isotherm equation for a ideal mixture permitted to substantiate from the viewpoint of molten salt complex structure model the character of concentrational dependence of the studied melt viscosity

AbstractAbstract
[en] Using the relative capillary method at the frequency of 50 kHz the specific electric conductivity of molten mixtures of the KF-KCl-ZnF4 system is measured. All the measurements were made in the atmosphere of purified argon. Temperature dependence of electric conductivity of the mixtures studied (800-1260 K) is described by the equations of exponential type with sufficient accuracy. Curves of identical specific electric conductivity of the three-component system are presented. With an increase in zirconium tetrachloride concentration in the mixtures electric conductivity of the melts decreases. On the basis of the measurement results of KF-ZrF4 and KCl-ZrF4 molten mixture specific electric conductivity and data on the melt density the values of molar electric conductivity at 1200 K are calculated

AbstractAbstract
[en] Surface tension (ST) of molten mixtures of LiF-BeF2-ThF4 ternary system is studied by the method of polythermal cross sections. ST temperature dependences of all melts in the investigated temperature ranges (general range 870 - 1320 K) are sufficiently well described by linear equations. The nature of ST concentration dependence shows that in respect to thorium tetrafluoride beryllium fluoride is characterized by a higher surface activity as compared to lithium fluoride
