AbstractAbstract
[en] Dynamics of a number of acoustic modes is investigated for the BiVO4 crystals by the method of Mandelstam-Brillouin scattering (MBS) and the temperature dependences of combinations of elastic moduli Asub(g) and Bsub(g) symmetry are determined. The temperature dependences of the MBS components for 14 acoustic waves have been investigated within the 300-550 K temperature range. The crystal thermodynamic potential coefficients are estimated. It is shown that the obtained dependences of elastic moduli Csub(ij)(T) and spontaneous deformations Esub(i)(T) can be satisfactorily described within the framework of the phenomenological Landau theory

[en] The intensity of light scattering by soft optical and acoustic modes in the range of ferroelastic phase transition in BiVO4 is considered. The analysis of the results obtained has shown that anomalous part of the intensity of the soft acoustic mode is mainly determined by the temperature dependence of the critical elastic modulus. Elastooptical constant consists of two contributions: constant one describing direct acoustic deformation of crystal, and contribution one, describing the influence of soft optical oscillation

AbstractAbstract
[en] The processes of the dopant activation in the InP crystals implanted with Be+ ions (energy 100 keV, dose 1013 cm-2 and subsequent thermal annealing during 10 s) have been studied by means of photoreflection spectroscopy. Spectral lines of the crystal InP were absent in the photoreflection spectra of the samples annealed at temperatures less then 400 Deg C. This fact is connected with the disordering of the crystal structure due to the ion implantation. In the temperature range 400-700 Deg C the lines from InP band gap (1.34 eV) and conductance band-spin-orbit splitting valence subband (1.44 eV) have been observed due to the recovery of the crystal structure. In the photoreflectance spectra of a 800 Deg C annealed sample the Franz-Keldysh oscillations have been observed, which can be an evidence in favour of the dopant activation. Carrier concentration calculated from the period of Franz-Keldysh oscillations was equal to 2.2 x 1016 cm-3

Методом спектроскопеии фотоотражения исследован процесс активации примеси в кристаллах InP, имплантированных ионами Be+ с энергией 100 кэВ и дозой 1013 cm-2 и подвергнутых термическому отжигу в течение 10 с. При температурах ожига до 400 град C в спектрах отсутствуют линии, характерные для кристаллического InP, что свидетельствует о разупорядочении кристаллической решетки вследствие ионной имплантации. При температурах ожига 400-700 град C в спектрах наблюдаются линии, связанные с фундаментальным переходом InP (1.34 эВ) и переходом между зоной проводимости и спин-орбитально отщепленной подзонной валентной зоны (1.44 эВ), что указывает на восстановление кристаллической структуры. Для образцов, отожженных при температуре 800 град C, в спектре фотоотражения наблюдаются осцилляции Франца-Келдыша, что свидетельствует об активации примеси. AbstractAbstract
[en] Josephson sandwiches of SNS type with bismuth interlayer are studied. An intensive formation of superconducting β-phase of Pb-Bi system when spraying Bi on a lead film cooled down to 240 K has been revealed. It is shown that the recrystallization takes place in the Bi film when thawing out the SNS system sprayed at temperatures lower 240 K; the recrystallization leads to the mechanical destruction of the whole system. The value of coherent wave length has been measured in Bi films using SINS- type sandwiches with upper superconducting electrode of Pb-Bi alloy or normal Bi interlayer; it equals 30+-10 nm and that is considerably below the previous estimate. Preliminary experiments with Nb-Bi-β structures has shown that high-quality Josephson junctions can be realized if Bi-base superconducting electrode materials are chosen correctly. The junctions have the value of characteristic voltage of the order of 1 mV and normal resistance of 1 Ohm when the area is 1 μm2

[en] A study was made of SNS-type Josephson sandwiches with a bismuth interlayer. The coherence length in thin bismuth films was measured and found to be equal to 30 +- 10 nm, much smaller than previous estimates. It is demonstrated that, with the correct selection of materials for the superconducting electrodes, one can obtain Josephson junctions with a characteristic voltage of the order of 1 mV and a normal resistance of the order 1 ohm having an area of 1 μ2
