AbstractAbstract
[en] Results of study of anthropogenic climate changes and its potential influence on economics and natural resources of Kazakhstan are generalized. Possible measures on adaptation and weakening of greenhouse effect impact in power engineering, agriculture and water recourses management are discussed. Further actions related with fulfillment of Republic of Kazakhstan obligations within Framework Convention of United Nations on Climate Change are proposed. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Activity of Kazakh Research Inst. of Environment Monitoring and Climate is revealed. Principal trends of scientific activity of the Institute are as follows: researches in field of metrology, climatology, environment pollution, evolution of surface water resources. Assessments of air basin pollution rate in industrial cities of Kazakhstan are given. So, the largest value of atmospheric pollution index up 74.9 is registered in Zhambyl city in 1987 and 1988. Ecological audit is carried out for environment of city industrial zones of Shymkent and Zhambyl cities, measures on reduce of enterprises influence of these cities on environment are proposed. Influence of anthropogenic processes on climate sharply increased in end of 50-Th- beginning of 60-Th years. More threatening character these influences began to take place near Aral Sea area, in Ehkibastuz fuel-energetic complex zone, on Semipalatinsk test site, Bajkonur space centre. During last 100 years a growth of average air temperature is about 1 deg C, that exceeds a value of global warming exceeding in two times. Few scenarios of possible climate changes are carried out. Assessment of influence rate of climate warming (vulnerability) for following objects: wheat productivity for North Kazakstan, water resources for some river basins, productivity of pastures and sheep, forest areas are given. Necessity of working out strategy for adaptation of national economy to future climate change is emphasized
