AbstractAbstract
[en] The 20MeV proton accelerator was developed at the end of 2005. Power Supply Control System becomes more important in supervisory control system as a rapid transformation in system monitoring and control is taking place due to evolution of various states. A large number of magnets have been installed and commissioned to guide the beam from LEBT to DTL at proton accelerator system. All these magnets need to be powered by highly stabilized current to maintain the alignment of the beam. Our objective is to design and develop a powerful system to control and monitor the operation of these power supplies through optical fiber communication and VME system. This paper describes the design and implementation for control and monitoring of magnet power supply for PEFP

AbstractAbstract
[en] Complete text of publication follows. Objective: The objective of this study is to detect the noble proteins that were functionally regulated by change of arginine methylation through irradiation of the low dose. The increase of the arginine methylation which is induced by low dose gamma-ray will have meaningful Introduction: Exposure of cells to low doses of radiation has well documented biological effect, but the underlying regulatory mechanisms are still poorly understood. Arginine methylation is a post translational modification that results in the formation of asymmetrical and symmetrical dimethylated arginines. Post-translational methylation of arginine residues of proteins involved in a growing number of cellular processes, including transcriptional regulation, cell signaling, RNA processing and DNA repair, biological influence. Methods: Human normal cell line Chang-liver was irradiation by gamma-ray of 0.02Gy, 0.2Gy. After irradiation, cells were incubated for 4h, 8h, 24h, and then harvested to prepare protein extracts. ASYM24(anti-dimethyl-Arginine, asymmetric) antibody was used to Western blot and immunoprecipitation. Proteins that show different degrees of intensity between the two samples were analyzed by Mass spectrometry. Results: We detected increased asymmetric arginine methylation of two proteins at 24h after a dose of 0.2Gy irradiation. The mass spectrometry identified that it is 27kDa and 73kDa proteins. The 27kDa is hypothetical protein that function does not know. The 73kDa protein is Mortalin, a member of the Heat shock 70 protein family, which correlate with the radioresistance response, control of cell proliferation and act as a chaperone. Conclusion: Low dose radiation induces the change of asymmetric arginine methylation modification of arginine residues of hypothetical protein and mortalin. We expect that increase of arginine methylation in mortarin and hypothetical protein correlates with the radioresistance, the functional study for these proteins is necessary to clarify the biological effects in radioadaptive response.

AbstractAbstract
[en] ADMA (asymmetric dimethylarginine) is an endogenous competitive NOS (nitric oxide synthase) inhibitor. Elevation of ADMA level in body fluid is related to various diseases including diabetes mellitus, atherosclerosis, hypercholesterolemia, chronic heart failure, and hypertension. Our goal was to elucidate the role for ADMA and protein arginine methylation in the pathogenesis of diabetes and develop RI protein chip system for easy determination of ADMA levels in blood or tissues. As a result, ADMA regulated by protein arginine methylation, DDAH1, and NOS was demonstrated to play some role in the pathogenesis of diabetes mellitus, and arginine methylation of some proteins indicated their possible involvement in the change in ADMA levels. The concept of the RI protein chip system was devised such that firstly, ADMA was acylated by radio-labelled succinic acid, and followed by binding of the complex to anti-acyl ADMA-specific antibody coated on chip. Acylation condition of ADMA with radio-labelled succinic acid was established

AbstractAbstract
[en] The construction of PEFP project whose final objective is to build 100 Mev proton accelerator started in 2002 and expected to finish in 2012. In 2005, we have performed 20mA proton beam of 20Mev. For developing the control systems of the 20Mev accelerator as well as 100 Mev accelerator, we chose EPICS(Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System) as the most suitable tool. We have studied EPICS applications for various situation and as the application we developed vacuum control system using EPICS base3.14.4 as the core software and EPICS extensions (e.g., EDM(Extensible Display Manager), MEDM(Motif Editor and Display Manager) etc.) as the user interface. There are a number of projects using EPICS for a broad spectrum of applications. EPICS began as a collaboration between Argonne National Laboratory and Los Alamos National Laboratory in 1991, building on work that was initially done at the ground test Accelerator. It is now running on accelerators that have as many as 180 distributed front-end controllers and control rooms with 20 consoles and a gateway to make system parameters available to offices, web site, and other remote control stations. It is also used at single controller and one workstation systems. We use the EPICS tool kit as a foundation of the control system. We developed a vacuum monitor, RFQ, DTL Turbo pump control system for use Ethernet Multi Serial Deice Severs on PEFP control system. The control system now shows stable and reliable characteristics enough to meet our control requirement. However, the control system is continuously being upgraded to accommodate additional control requirements such as vacuum device control

AbstractAbstract
[en] Digitalized nuclear I and C system requires high dependability of hardware and software. Because embedded software is developed to be fit for the target platform, its types are very various and it is tightly coupled with hardware and OS. In this paper, we propose the checklists for testing embedded software components in digitalized nuclear I and C system. The checklist presented in this paper suggests a scheme that can consistently test diverse types of embedded software components, and a test concentrating on the features of embedded software
