AbstractAbstract
[en] An α and β radiation measuring system of simultaneously counting emissions from up to four samples is described. The primary detectors consist of the new low background α and β scintillators of model ST1221 and the low noise PM tube of model GDB-52LD. A single 300 mm x 5 mm plastic scintillator is used as guard detector, 90Sr-90Y β counting efficiency is 60% with typical background of 0.03 cm-2·min-1, αcounting efficiency for 239Pu is 70% with background of 0.03 cm-2·h-1. This instrument is compatible with microcomputer of any type. Measuring and data processing are controlled by computer

[en] Model BH1217B double channel measuring instrument for monitoring weak α and β radiation with large area semiconductor detector are described. In case of 2π detection efficiency ≥85% (typical value 90%) for 239Pu with typical background of 0.015 cm-2·h-1 and ≥40% (typical value 50%) for 90Sr-90Y with typical background of 0.03 cm-2·h-1. Counting efficiency for α entering β channel: <1%, and for β entering α channel: 0. Data collection, control and processing are all completed by computer

AbstractAbstract
[en] A high-sensitive equipment monitoring leakage of the reactor fuel elements has been developed. The delayed neutrons emitted from fission product-pioneer nucleus are monitored in the 1st circle water. An array of 3He proportional counter tubes is designed as a neutron detector for delayed neutrons, the detection geometry of which is near to 4π. In order to reduce the influence of interference factors the monitoring of fission product is carried out with 75s delay. The 87Br delayed neutron pioneer nucleus is chosen as a monitoring object. The neutron detection efficiency of the developed equipment is 6.1%, which is 3 times higher than one of all available advanced equipment of the same function both at home and abroad

Being used with the ORTEC's HPGe detectors, in the absence of shield, it gives a suppression coefficient of 4.5 to 5.5 in the energy region of 50 to 100 keV for 60Co.
