AbstractAbstract
[en] Effect of heat temperature during welding on tendency to brittleness of welded joints of 15Kh2MFA and 15Kh2NMFA steels during reheating, which corresponds to heat treatment of steel constructions, is studied. Increase of resistance against cracking during reheating and high temperature of heating in welding is established for welded joints of 15Kh2MFA steel. Welding of 15Kh2NMFA steel is to be carried out with heating up to relatively low temperatures (150-200 deg C), because tendency of joints to cracking during reheating increases with temperature increase upto 300-350 deg C

[en] Consideration is given to results of investigvation into 14GY2MFA structural stee, designated for manufacture of critical large units of heat exchange equipment. Comparative analysis of properties of this steel and widely used 10GN2MFA steel was conducted. It is shown that 14GN2MFA steel is characterized by higher degree of stability of mechenical properties and deformation ability of heat affected zone under reheating

AbstractAbstract
[en] Testing by a freely dropping load was employed to study brittle cracking of certain materials. The method is described, and the composition of special overwelding material is reported. It is shown that the ITs-14 steel and welds made with the help of the TsL-48 electrodes possess satisfactory workability below 0 deg C
