AbstractAbstract
[en] A new method for the selection of diffraction in hadron interactions is proposed and tested. It makes use of angles between particle momenta in the cms to groups them into clusters and thus ensures small interparticle distances within a given cluster. The method allows a common approach to single and double diffractions and double pomeron exchange. Very few empirical criteria are introduced into it. Comparison with other methods is made and it is concluded that the proposed cluster metod seems to be more efficient in the selection of diffraction dissociation with high multiplicity final state hadrons than the maximum rapidity gap and the longitudinal phase space methods. 7 figs., 2 tabs., 21 refs

AbstractAbstract
[en] A new cluster method for separating the diffractions dissociation processes is described. The matrix of angles between momenta of secondary particles in the centre-of-mass system is used in this method. The so-called minimal spanning tree (MST) is being built which are a minimal distance between geodesics on a unit sphere connecting the secondary particles. Separation into clusters goes via breaking the longest distance in MST. To investigate a possibility of applying the method for the magnetic spectrometer with vertex detector the diffraction dissociation events generated by the Monte Carlo method transmit the set up. The average efficiency of separating the single dissociation processes turned out to be more than 90%. This evidences in favour of a possibility to apply the method in experiments on the magnetic spectrometer with vertex detector. 6 refs.; 4 figs.; 1 tab

[en] Results are presented on the experimental study of differential cross section of elastic dd scattering at the momentum of 4.6 GeV/c in the range of the four-momentum transfers squared 0.0275<=t<=0.146 (GeV/c)2. The slope parameter of the diffractional cone is obtained, bsub(dd)=54.9+-0.8 (GeV/c)-2. The experimental data agree well with the theoretical quantities obtained in framework of the Glauber model
