AbstractAbstract
[en] A specific and sensitive RIA for the human procollagen type III (hPC III) was developed by double antibody and PEG technique which allowed easy and sequential measurement of hPC III in the serum of human. The hPC III was isolated and purified from human fetal skin of induced abortion. The antiserum with high titre was acquired from rabbit after immunization. hPC III was labeled with 125I. The standard curve had good competitive inhibition, and its working range was 40-640 μg/L. There was no cross-reaction with hPC I and collagen type IV or type III or type I. The intrassay CV was 4.2% and the interassay CV was 8.2%. The sensitivity was 6 μg/L and the recovery was 97.5%-106.3% (Mean 99.96%). The normal value of reference was 87.5 ± 16.2 μg/L and the upper limit was 120 μg/L. The operation of improved RIA for hPC III was simpler and faster than old one

AbstractAbstract
[en] Considering the real fact of CARR Laboratory's HPGe detector, the detection efficiency without standard source calibration was calculated. The detection efficiency calculated by Monte Carlo method was compared with that by numerical integration method in terms of energy and volume. After measuring the activated piece (point source) and water sample (volume source), the experimental results agree well with calculated results, validating the feasibility and accuracy of calibration method without standard source. Compared with standard source calibration experiment, this method breaks through many limitations, reduces the work of preparing standard source, saves lots of time, and also greatly broadens the application scope of HPGe detector. AbstractAbstract
[en] We construct a non-local kinetic equation for a plasma in a very strong magnetic field B where the charged particles coincide with their guiding centres and have zero drifts. It is shown that, although in this system mass transport occurs only along the field lines, heat transport cannot be confined only in the direction of the magnetic field. In particular, it is estimated that a finite cross field heat flux can be driven by collisions between like particles at the limit B → ∞. Hence, the classical B-2 dependence of κ''perpendicular'' must be modified to comply with this result. The choice of the cut-off length L''perpendicular'', representing the distance across B over which electrostatic interactions can be sustained, is discussed briefly at the end of the present work. AbstractAbstract
[en] The early time evolution of helical plasma perturbations can be described by expanding the velocity field V(x, t) in a time series, the coefficients of which can be calculated by using the ideal MHD equations as an algorithm. The stabilizing effect that a longitudinal magnetic field has on such perturbations is studied and a short-time criterion valid for both Z-pinches and cylindrical tokamaks is derived. It is found that even if the divergence of the perturbation is equal to zero, the system is not marginally stable. In particular, if the helicity of the unperturbed magnetic field is opposite to the helicity of the plasma perturbation, the conditions q < 1 ∼ unstable and q > 1 ∼ stable, are obtained, whereas, if the two helicities are of the same direction, the system is stable. The modification of the above criterion due to para- or diamagnetic poloidal currents is also discussed. (Author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The growths of nonlinear tearing mode and magnetic island width w have been calculated based on the unified analytical model (D. Li, Phys. Plasmas 2, 3275 (1995)) and by using TEXT parameters adopted in the island width measurements (Y. Z. Zhang et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 65, 2877 (1990)). It is found that the Rutherford behavior like (Ψ tilde)1 ∝ t2 (i.e. w ∝ t) is dominant in the nonlinear phase if the linear mode is weekly unstable. However, the new behavior like (Ψ tilde)1 ∝ t (i.e. w ∝ t1/2) becomes dominant in the nonlinear phase when the linear mode is strongly unstable. It seems that synthetic effect of these two algebraic growths is more identical to the temporal evolution of (m/n=2/1) island width in TEXT discharges. Here (Ψ tilde)1 is the magnetic flux perturbation. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] A special distributed control system (DCS) was developed to carry out the reactor control in a floating nuclear power plant, and dual CPU redundant technique was an important method to improve the DCS system reliability. The dual CPU redundant technique based on DeviceNet field bus was researched, in which two CPU units and some data I/O units were connected through a DeviceNet field bus, and DeviceNet client/server programs running in the CPU units implement the data synchronization between two CPU units and the redundant control over data I/O units. AbstractAbstract
[en] The toxicity of three radiosensitizers BSO, CM and RSU-1069 on retinoblastoma cells was determined and the efficiency of in vitro MTT assay on drug-screening for retinoblastoma was also evaluated. The results showed that the MTT assay is very useful. The toxicity of radiosensitizers on retinoblastoma cells is dependent on cell line characteristics, drug concentration and time of exposure to it

AbstractAbstract
[en] The Monte Carlo method is used to simulate the gamma-ray scattering Moessbauer spectrum (GSMS). By assuming a plane geometry model, the GSMS of the samples of stainlees steel covered by a iron layer with various thickness are calculated using the method of statistical estimate. The results are coincident with experimental results. This means that the Monte Carlo method can be used to simulate the GSMS and to obtain the information on the thickness of the layer by comparing the areas of subspectra

AbstractAbstract
[en] One of the important features of the littlest Higgs model with T parity, called the LHT model, is that it introduces the mirror fermions, which are the T-parity partners of the standard model fermions. In this paper, we discuss production of the mirror quark associated with a mirror neutrino via eγ and ep collisions. We find that, in a wide range of the parameter space, the mirror quark can be copiously produced at the International Linear e+e- Collider and ep collider (THERA) experiments. The production rates of certain signal events, which are related the main two-body decay modes of the mirror quark, are also calculated
