AbstractAbstract
[en] The method of obtaining a solid solution powder of uranium-plutonium oxides (with 38% plutonium content) from the AUPuC pulp of the process (ammonium uranyl-plutonyl carbonate) using microwave radiation in reducing and atmospheric environments was proposed and tested at the laboratory level. For research purposes, the pulp obtained by coprecipitation of uranium and plutonium from nitrate solution (stripping product simulator) was prepared in advance. The process consists of three main stages: oxidation of Pu(IV) to Pu(VI), precipitation, and conversion in a laboratory microwave unit. According to the X-ray phase analysis, the powder obtained in a reducing atmosphere is a solid cubic solution (Ux Pu1-x)O2. The powder obtained in an atmospheric environment is a mixture of two oxides, PuO2 and U3O8. Scanning electron microscopy and electron probe microanalysis of the powder obtained in an atmospheric environment showed a fairly uniform distribution of U, Pu, and O in the solid phase.

Предложен и на лабораторном уровне опробован метод получения порошка твердого раствора оксидов урана - плутония (содержание плутония - 38%) из пульпы AUPuC-процесса (Ammonium Uranyl - Plutonyl Carbonate) с использованием СВЧ-излучения в восстановительной и воздушной средах. Для проведения исследований предварительно была подготовлена пульпа, полученная методом соосаждения урана и плутония из их нитратного раствора (имитирующего раствор-реэкстракт). Процесс состоит из трех основных стадий: окисления Pu(IV) до Pu(VI), осаждения и конверсии полученной пульпы в лабораторной СВЧ-установке. По данным рентгенофазового анализа, порошок, полученный в восстановительной атмосфере, является твердым кубическим раствором (Uх Pu1-х )О2. Порошок, полученный в воздушной атмосфере, является смесью двух оксидов PuO2 и U3O8. Сканирующая электронная микроскопия и электронно-зондовый микроанализ порошка, полученного в воздушной атмосфере, показали, что в твердой фазе наблюдается достаточно равномерное распределение U, Pu и O.Original Title

[en] An effect of intensive alpha radiation of 238Pu (content in glass up to 4.0 wt %) on the properties of borosilicate glass (BSG) of the Experimental and Demonstration Center at the Mining and Chemical Combine (EDC MCC) for SNF reprocessing was examined . The characteristics of the BSG were studied immediately after preparing the samples and upon set the dose induced by alpha decays in the sample unit volume (α/cm3). The 238Pu uniform distribution in the samples was proved by autoradiography and destructive chemical analysis with α-spectrometric ending. The density of the BSG samples was in the range of 2.71 - 2.72 g/cm3 depending on the plutonium content and did not change with time. The 238Pu leaching rate on the 28th day at 90° C for two parallel glass samples with a cumulative dose of 1.70 × 1018 α/cm3 was 5.0 × 10-7 g/(cm2 day), which corresponds to the values regulated by the requirements (NP-019-15: Collection, processing, storage, and conditioning of liquid radioactive waste. Safety requirements). The amorphous structure of the sample was preserved at a dose load of 3.2 × 1018 α/cm3 of glass, its density did not vary, and the surface had a vitreous shine. Исследовано влияние интенсивного альфа-излучения 238Pu (содержание в стекле до 4.0 мас%) на свойства боросиликатного стекла (БСС) опытно-демонстрационного центра горно-химического комбината по переработке ОЯТ (ОДЦ ГХК). Характеристики БСС исследовали сразу после получения образцов и по мере набора дозы за счет альфа-распадов в единице объема образца (α/см3). Однородность распределения 238Pu в образцах подтверждали методами авторадиографии и разрушающего химического анализа с α-спектрометрическим окончанием. Плотность образцов БСС находилась в диапазоне 2.71–2.72 г/см3 в зависимости от содержания плутония и не менялась со временем. Скорость выщелачивания 238Pu на 28-е сутки при 90°С у двух параллельных образцов стекла с кумулятивной дозой 1.70 × 1018 α/см3 составляла 5.0 × 10–7 г/(см2·сут), что соответствует величинам, регламентированным требованиям НП-019-15. Аморфная структура образца сохранилась при дозовой нагрузке 3.2 × 1018 α/см3 стекла, плотность его не претерпела изменений, поверхность обладает стеклянным блеском.
