[en] Specific and molar electrical conductivities of molten iodide mixtures were measured. A multiple-term polynomial equation was used to describe the temperature and concentration dependence of specific electrical conductivity. Molar conductivity of molten mixtures gives a linear dependence on the kind of cations and anions. (author)

[en] Experimental results concerning the oxygen isotope fractionation between liquid and gaseous phases are demonstrated on the basis of isotherm evaporating model-studies for the following salt systems: LiCl-H2O, KCl-H2O, RbCl-H2O, CsCl-H2O, MgCl2-H2O, CaCl2-H2O, SrCl2-H2O, KCl-MgCl2-H2O, MgCl2-CaCl2-H2O, NaCl-KCl-MgCl2-H2O, and KCl-MgCl2-CaCl2-H2O. The experimental results, which are especially discussed with respect to the relationship between solvent and salt, allow to draw conclusions on the specific influence of the different salts on the oxygen isotope fractionation. [en] The temperature and concentration dependence of the densities of binary CaBr2-(Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs)Br, NaBr-(Sr, Ba)Br2 and KBr-SrBr2 mixtures have been measured using the method of hydrostatic weighing. With exception of the systems LiBr-CaBr2 and NaBr-(Sr, Ba)Br2 the calculated molar excess volumes are positiv in the investigated mixtures. (author)

In the systems CaBr2-(K, Rb, Cs)Br and SrBr2-KBr minima were found on the isotherms of the specific and molar electrical conductivity at the concentration xsub(M'Br2) approximately 0.5. (author)
