AbstractAbstract
[en] The characteristics are investigated of a transient grating induced by laser in glasses doped with CdSSe semiconductor and the nonlinear response time of the material is obtained. Also the properties of photoluminescence of the glasses are studied and a blue shift in luminescence spectra with increasing intensity of the input beam is observed. It is assumed that the nonlinearity of the material is due to band filling in semiconductor microcrystallites. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] A method for the determination of lead in lead-born carbide-polyethylene was studied. The solution technique was explored. The polyethylene in the sample was removed by carbonization calcining and ashing. The temperature and time of ashing were studied, and then, the sample was dissolved in nitric acid and the lead was determined by EDTA complexometry. The precision of this method is 0.8%, the recovery ratio was 98% to 102%. This method is good for determination of lead in lead-born carbide-polyethylene. (authors)
