AbstractAbstract
[en] The 89Y(α,3nγ)90Nb reaction was studied at 35.7 MeV. The location of the 9+ member of the π(g/sub 9/2/ν(g/sub 9/2/)-1 multiplet was clarified, and two previously unobserved higher-spin states were found. A partial level scheme with spin--parity assignments is exhibited. 1 figure

AbstractAbstract
[en] Levels populated by the 84,86Sr(α,2nγ)86,88Zr reactions and the 84Sr(α,nγ)87Zr reaction were studied at bombarding energies of 16.7 to 35 MeV. Also levels in 88Zr populated by the 89Y(p,2nγ) reaction were studied at 22.7 MeV incident proton energy. The g-factor of the 8+ state at 2887 keV in 88Zr was also measured with the latter reaction using the perturbed angular correlation technique. A number of new high spin states in 88Z and 87Zr were observed, and a level scheme for 86Zr was obtained for the first time. The levels observed were interpreted within a shell model context. Spins, parities, multiplets, transitions, and level structure and kinetics are discussed. 10 references

AbstractAbstract
[en] The 33 MeV 86Sr(3He,3nν) reaction has been used to re-measure the level structure of the N=46 nucleus 86Zr. The lowest 8+ level is found at 3,297.5 keV, consistent with some but not all earlier studies. On the basis of spectroscopic measurements and data-to-data comparisons with other N=46 nuclei, the 3,531.8 keV level is also suggested as an 8+. (orig.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The structure of 92Nb has been investigated using the 33.8 MeV 92Zr(3He,t) and (3He,p2nγ) reactions. Several previously unobserved levels, including several belonging to the π(gsub(9/2))ν(gsub(9/2))-1 multiplet, are reported. The results are discussed in terms of the shell model. (orig.)
