[en] The research in the gas industry is various but also badly known. The aim of this workshop was to debate the question of the organization and financing of research in order to keep the gas industry dynamics up. The domains in concern are: - the protection of gas transport and distribution infrastructures, the detection of gas plumes and the assessment of risks; - the abatement of CO₂ emissions using clean processes and the sequestration of CO₂; - the transition towards an hydrogen economy. Six participants have presented their research works and projects in these domains. (J.S.)
