AbstractAbstract
[en] The definition of a parameter usefull to measure the transversity is given. Some reactions at 9GeV/c are examined and the channels are selected looking at the behaviour of global transverse momenta of the event. A few comparisons with other variables, used to select the channels characterized by different production processes are reported

AbstractAbstract
[en] An event with the decay chain Σ+sub(c) → Λ+sub(c) + PI0, Λ+sub(c) → k- + p + PI+, has been observed in an exposure of BEBC, equipped with a track sensitive target, to the wide band neutrino beam from the SPS at CERN. This event appears to be an example of a ΔS = -ΔQ reaction with the decay Σ+sub(c) → Λ+sub(c) + PI0. The Σ+sub(c) and Λ+sub(c) masses and their mass differences have been measured. (UK)

AbstractAbstract
[en] A reaction π-d→π-π-π+d is studied at 9GeV/c. The mass spectra are in fair agreement with the predictions of a Reggeized pion Deck model. However, the s channel azimuthal angular distribution indicates a rho exchange Deck contribution. The results of the partial wave analysis of the (3π)- system are compared with those obtained with a hydrogen target: tne Jsup(P)=2+ contribution is very small (1.5+-1.2)% in the data, which are dominated by Jsup(P)=1+ for low mass whereas the Jsup(P)=0-, 1+, 2- have comparable importance in the higher mass region

AbstractAbstract
[en] A study is presented of dimuon events from an exposure of BEBC to a wide band anti ν beam from the CERN SPS. These data double the available statistics on anti ν induced dilepton events observed in bubble chambers. The relative production rate and V0 yield have been measured and found to agree with previous experiments. The analysis of several kinematical variables shows that the gros features of the data agree with the predictions of the GIM model. Some indication exists that part of the signal could be due to quasi elastic production of the 'beautiful baryon', but the statistical significance is too weak to draw definitive conclusions. (orig.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Single pion production, in antineutrino-nucleon interactions via the neutral current, has been studied in the bubble chamber Gargamelle, filled with propane. Complete analysis of the secondaries, including π0sup(,)S, has allowed a detailed study of all channels. After background and nuclear corrections, results are obtained which can be interpreted in terms of isospin structure of the neutral weak current and of the Salam-Weinberg angle. Agreement is found with the currently accepted value of sin 2THETAsub(w) and the data suggest an important contribution of I = 3/2 final states. (orig.)
