AbstractAbstract
[en] A resonator together with a resistive shunting cover over the microbridge was applied to synchronize intrinsic Josephson junctions. We made both numerical and experimental investigations of the electrical properties of such microbridges: the multibranch behaviour above critical currents and switching between branches. The stability analyses revealed that in-phase states are sensitive to noise. Optimal parameters for synchronization of the system of two junctions up to 26-27% spread of critical currents are calculated

AbstractAbstract
[en] Neither destruction of thymus by N-methylnitrosourea or by X-rays nor thymectomy or splenectomy in rats of different ages affected hexobarbital sleeping time, ethylmorphine N-demethylation or ethoxycoumarin O-deethylation significantly and systematically. Thymectomy or thymus destruction by X-rays of newborn rats did not significantly influence postnatal development or inducibility by phenobarbital of the monooxygenase reactions. (author)

[en] The characteristics of a user-oriented conversational microcomputer program are presented. Six- and four-parameter exponential functions allow the reliable fitting of radioimmunoassay and immunoradiometric assay standard curves. The program includes the computation of the 95% area of trust. (author)

[en] With a double-resonator microwave circuit with 216 Josephson junctions driven at a frequency of 11.1 GHz we have obtained overlapping Shapiro steps up to 0.16 V with step widths of about 25 μA. Chaotic instabilities can be tuned out by the microwave power. (orig.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] 19F NMR and differential thermal analysis (DTA) measurements are carried out of a special glass ZBT-4 from the ZrF4-BaF2-ThF4 base system in order to examine the process of crystallization and the several crystal phases. The 19F NMR lineshape behaviour of the recrystallized ZBT-4 glass and of crystalline ß-BaZrF6 studied as a function of temperature showns that most of ZBT-4 glass crystallizes into the ß-BaZrF6 phase

AbstractAbstract
[en] CF4-plasma etching of niobium and SiO/sub x/ layers has been investigated in a r.f. diode reactor. Etch rates increase linearly with increasing power density and also increase with pressure. The etch rate ratio can be changed using different etch gases or operating in different plasma modes (PE or IEPE). Changing from the ion enhanced plasma etching mode (IEPE) to plasma etching mode (PE) the etch rate ratio is changing by a factor of ten. On the basis of etch rate dependences on process parametes and thermodynamic data it has been suggested the generation of fluorine radicals as the rate limiting step. A general etching model has been proposed, which explains qualitatively and quantitatively (on account of data from literature) the measured results. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The normal parameters of urethro-cystography were evaluated in 324 examinations. There were definite differences between continent and pressure-incontinent women on the one hand, and stress-incontinent patients on the other, as regards the pubo-urethral angle, but not as regards the posterior vesico-urethral angle. Preoperative and post-operative urethro-cystograms showed statistically significant differences. (orig.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Based on proliferation kinetic studies by means of autoradiography the effect of single irradiation on solid Ehrlich carcinomas is described with respect to changes in the cyclic phases. Optimum irradiation intervals of 24 hours have been derived from studies of the course of the mitotic index and from determining the radiosensitivity of the cyclic phases. This result does not agree with own investigations of the effects of different fractionation patterns on the same tumour model. It is concluded that for the success of radiation therapy proliferation kinetics of the euoxic tumour part is subordinated to the portion and inflow of hypoxic cells. (author)
