[en] The achievements in the field of technological dosimetry have been presented. The basic characteristics of standard and operating dosemeters intended for the control of radiation technological processes have been given. There has been made a conclusion that the choice of standard means of technological dosimetry is to increase constantly. THat is why, it is necessary to perfect the initial means of metrological provision of absorbed dose measurements, in particular to design reliable calorimetric units operating at electron radiation dose rates of more than 5x107 rad/s at radiation heating of 200 deg C and higher

AbstractAbstract
[en] The authors report here on the development, based on detailed studies, of a total heat flux calorimeter constructed so as to provide highly accurate measurements of the absorption of ionizing radiation energy in any type of substance, including those with low heat conductivity. The standard materials used for the calorimeter absorber were as close as possible to those of the dosimeters to be calibrated (graphite, polystyrene and water). In order to furnish the Soviet Union with a standard method of measuring absorbed doses from photon radiation, a comparison is made of the present working standard with a primary standard. The authors also review those dosimeters now permitted to be commercially produced in the USSR
