AbstractAbstract
[en] Possibilities of radioisotopic renography with 131I-hippuran and static scintigraphy with 99mTc-DMSA in kidney tumor diagnosis, are studied. It is shown that static scintigraphy is a reliable method of detecting and localizing kidney tumors, which permits to differentiate benign and malignant processes

AbstractAbstract
[en] The feasibility of the scannographic method in early diagnosis and detectio on ofthyroid cancer or rejected suspicion of recurrence of metastases is emphasi ed. It is indicated in rapid histological examination that determines the volum me of surgical intervention. 131i therapy with the activity of 185-370 is sufficient for a complete ablation of the thyroid residue and the prevention of recurrence or metastatic appearance in other organs irrespective of a histologi al type of carcinoma. The patients were followed up for 5 years

AbstractAbstract
[en] The results of treatment of 83 patients operated for thyroid cancer in T-1-3NoMo are analyzed. On days 20-30 after the operation a control scintigraphy was made of the thyroid with 131I (37 mBq). Patients with thyroid residue 1.5 to 2.0 cm in diameter received 1850 mBq (50 mlC) activity, those with thyroid residue 1.5 to 2.0 cm in diameter received 3700 MBq (100 mlC). All patients, regardless on the hystological structure of the tumor, showed complete and steady ablation of the thyroid residue. The patients were in a good state of health 13 years after iodine therapy. Hemopoiesis disorders were not observed. 1 tab., 19 refs

AbstractAbstract
[en] We introduce a technique for derivation of high-fidelity composite pulse sequences for two types of multistate quantum systems: systems with the SU(2) and Morris-Shore dynamic symmetries. For the former type, we use the Majorana decomposition to reduce the dynamics to an effective two-state system, which allows us to find the propagator analytically and use the pool of available composite pulses for two-state systems. For the latter type of multistate systems, we use the Morris-Shore decomposition, which reduces the multistate dynamics to a set of two-state systems. We present examples which demonstrate that the multistate composite sequences open a variety of possibilities for coherent control of quantum systems with multiple states.
