AbstractAbstract
[en] The consistent relativistic energy approach to atoms in a strong realistic laser field, based on the Gell-Mann and Low S-matrix formalism, is applied in the study of resonant multiphoton ionization of krypton by intense uv laser radiation and for the computation of the resonance shift and width in krypton. The approach to the treatment of the multiphoton resonances in nuclei is outlined for the "5"7Fe nucleus

AbstractAbstract
[en] The arrival directions of primary cosmic ray particles with energies E0 ≥ 1017 eV and zenith angles θ ≤ 60o recorded on the Yakutsk array over the period 1974-2009 are analyzed. These events are shown to have different anisotropies in different energy ranges.

AbstractAbstract
[en] The Pierre Auger Collaboration discovered, in a solid angle of radius about 18°, a local group of cosmic rays having energies in the region E0 ≥ 5.5 × 1019 eV and coming from the region of the Gen A radio galaxy, whose galactic coordinates are lG 309.5° and bG = 19.4°. Near it, there is the Centaur supercluster of galaxies, its galactic coordinates being lG = 302.4° and bG = 21.6°. It is noteworthy that the Great Attractor, which may have a direct bearing on the observed picture, is also there.

AbstractAbstract
[en] We present a consistent relativistic theory of discharge of a metastable nucleus with emission of γ quantum and further μ- conversion. The numerical calculation is carried out for the scandium nucleus (A=49, N=21) with using the Dirac-Woods-Saxon model.

AbstractAbstract
[en] A number of cosmic-ray energy spectra measured in the energy region E0 ≥ 1017 eV at the Yakutsk array and at AGASA, Haverah Park, HiRes, Auger, and SUGAR within different periods of time were considered. It was shown that, upon rescaling the energy of these spectra by factors of K = 0.75, 0.85, 0.9, 1.02, 1.19, and 1.29, respectively, all of them agree with one another rather well in shape. The factors K themselves exhibit a pronounced north-south dependence on the geographical latitude of the positions of the above arrays.

AbstractAbstract
[en] Results are presented that were obtained by analyzing the arrival directions of E0 ≥ 8 x 1018 eV primary cosmic rays recorded at the Yakutsk array over the period between 1974 and 2003 and at the SUGAR array (Australia). The greatest primary-cosmic-ray flux is shown to arrive from the region of visible intersection of the planes of the Galaxy and the Supergalaxy (local supercluster of galaxies) at a galactic longitude of about 137o. On a global scale, the lowest temperature of the cosmic microwave background is typical of this region.

[en] The results obtained by analyzing arrival directions for primary cosmic particles characterized by energies in the region E0 ⩾ 1017 eV and zenith angles in the range θ ⩽ 60° and detected at the Yakutsk array for studying extensive air showers (EASs) over the period spanning 1974 and 2009 are presented. It is shown that these events exhibit different anisotropies in different energy intervals.

AbstractAbstract
[en] Results are presented that were obtained by analyzing the energy spectrum and anisotropy of E0 ≥ 1017 eV primary cosmic rays on the basis of data accumulated at the Yakutsk array for studying extensive air showers over the period between 1974 and 2004. It is shown that spectra corresponding to different regions of the sky differ in shape. Particle fluxes going from the Galaxy and Supergalaxy (a local supercluster of galaxies) disks are enhanced for E0 ≥ 5 x 1018 eV and are reduced for E0 ≤ (2-3) x 1018 eV. This observation is interpreted as a manifestation of the possible interaction between extragalactic primary cosmic rays and matter of the above structures of space
