AbstractAbstract
[en] The electrons run-away process in space-confined plasma with current is considered. It has been found that the effect of the proper magnetic field of a current leads to appearance, in add tion to the Dreicer mechanism, of other run-away mechanism in the process of radial oscillations of electrons accelerating near the axis. The appearance of run-away electrons from a thermal velocities region occurs in the course of collisions as well as radial drift. The thresholds of Dreicer run-away and drift are determined. The conditions of formation of Z-pinch current envelope and its collisionless compression by the ''snow plough'' type for the 10-100 ns of high-current accelerator pulse duration are elucidated

[en] Selfsimilar solution of one-dimensional hydrodynamical problem of double layer extension formed near cathode in plasma filling diode of high current accelerator is considered. A plasma source is external, ionization is complete. Power dependence of external voltage on time is taken, motion is considered to be nonrelativistic and quasistationary for electrons and nonstationary for ions. Dependences of diode characteristics and a double layer on time, which is true at the stage of intensive plasma resolution and growth of a double layer at the front of voltage pulse, are established. The results and experimental data are compared

AbstractAbstract
[en] Effect of multiple ionization and radiation (bremmstrahlung and photorecombination) on skin effect in a dense plasma is investigated. Limiting cases are considered: 1) fast skin-effect, when plasma movement and any types of losses (radiation, electron thermal conductivity) have no time to manifest themselves during short heating times; 2) deceleration of skinning under effect of radiation achieving equilibrium with Joule heating. Self-simulating solutions of the problem for half-space are investigated. The results are applied to analysing experiments with exploding wires. It is shown that under conditions, typical of heavy-current decelerators tubular structures are produced as a result of heat and current skinning under free dispersion of plasma produced during the explosion. Their dimensions are of the order of dozens of microns, and the temperature exceeds 50 eV. The linear power and complete ''tube'' radiation yield at this stage are able to make a substantial contribution to the energy balance in the group

[en] it is shown in the work that mica crystals bent over 100 mm vadius sphere can be successfully applied in the experiments on the dense plasma diagnostics by X-ray spectral methods. High spectral and spatial resolution realized in the experiment allows one to apply these crystals in quite fine experiments, e.g. for measuring the transition extension parameters in the X-ray range and determining plasma parameters under 1022-1023 cm-3 densities and 0.5-5 keV temperatures

[en] Dynamics of X-pinch in a diode of a powerful nanosecond current generator is studied both experimentally and theoretically. By means of X-ray probing with subnanosecond (temporary) and micron resolution one observed formation of a constriction prior to X-ray radiation flash with its subsequent rupture and decomposition. The radiation MHD-model enabled to describe the basic characteristics of the process including formation of mini- diode, formation of narrow neck, micro-explosion of the hot point formation of shock waves with subsequent rupture of constriction
