AbstractAbstract
[en] 4 patients with skeletal metastases treated with 90Y-EDTMP, 4 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma receiving artery perfusion treatment with 90Y-GTMS and 8 patients treated with 32P-colloid by interstitial and local injection were undergone Bremsstrahlung image with SPECT. High energy collimator was used and a wide energy window was selected by experience. The outline of image attained was clear, the contrast was good and radiopharmaceutical biodistribution could be clearly defined. It is concluded that this technique is of value for observing the clinical course, evaluating the effect of treatment, and predicting prognosis, and explaining clinical phenomena in patients treated with pure β emitter

AbstractAbstract
[en] The wide use of the broad-spectrum antibiotics, corticosteroids and immunosuppressant may lead to lower immunity which can increases the chance of fungi infection. Searching a better antifungal therapy is one of the direction of medical research. Ionizing radiation can quickly and effectively kill the microorganisms, and also can be the antifungal. The research suggests that the method of targeting radioimmunotherapy labeled specific antibody may become an effective antifungal treatment channels. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] This article discussed the correlation between apoptosis and thrombosis. As a new kind of functional imaging technology, the imaging of apoptosis with 99Tcm-labeled annexin V can be used to diagnose thrombosis in earlier period with detecting the existence of apoptosis cell. It also can offer the assistance about diagnosis of clinical thrombosed disease

AbstractAbstract
[en] After temporary occlusion of left hepatic vein, hepatic arterial embolization (HAE) were performed with 131I-lipiodol, it can improve the effectiveness of HAE in treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma. Using the pig as a model, during the course of embolization of the left hepatic artery with 131I-lipiodol, temporary occlusion of the left hepatic vein was done in the experimental group. Lipiodol was labelled with 131I using exchanged reaction method. The labelled rate was 95%. The lung/liver radioactive ratio, radioactive distribution and the condition of radioactive decay in body were obtained by the SPECT imaging after operation. The radioactive ratio of the lung/liver in experimental group was lower than that in control group (P<0.05) on the 1st and 3rd days after operation and has no significant difference on the 5th, 7th and 14the days (P<0.05). The effective half-life of 131I-lipiodol was 4.53 day (median). The pathological change of experimental group was more severe than control group expressing spotty infarct, fibrinoid necrosis, coagulation necrosis etc. The result of experiment showed that this method is safe, effective and can tentatively be used clinically

AbstractAbstract
[en] 99mTc-MIBI lung imaging were performed in 41 patients with lung tumor (30 patients with malignant lesions, 11 patients with benign lesions). The delayed rest T/N ratio and uptake index were calculated. The sensitivity was 86.7%. The specificity was 90.9% and 81.8% respectively. It was considered that 99mTc-MIBI lung imaging is useful for the differentiation between benign and malignancy in lung tumors

AbstractAbstract
[en] Objective: To evaluate the value of lymphoscintigraphy for cervical sentinel lymph node (SLN) detection in patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma. Methods: Twenty-one patients with clinically N0 oral squamous carcinoma underwent preoperative lymphoscintigraphy and intraoperative methylene blue location. The results were compared with pathological findings. Results: 1) The sensitivity of lymphoscintigraphy for detecting SLN was 100%(21/21), and methylene blue was 85% (17/20). 2)Both SLN biopsy and cervical ablative dissection confirmed that 33.3% (7/21) patients were with cervical lymph node metastasis. Fourteen non-metastatic SLNs comfirmed by biopsy were also proved with the findings of neck dissection, and the specificity was 100%. Conclusion: Lymphoscintigraphy can detect the cervical SLN and accurately predict cervical lymph node metastasis in patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma.(authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] More than 90% of primary thyroid cancers are differentiated papillery or follicular types. The popular treatment of differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC) consist of surgery, radioiodine ablation and thyroid stimulating hormone suppressive therapy, which increase clinical benefit rate. During tumor progression, cellular de-differentiation occurs in up to 30% of cases and usually result in the loss of iodine uptake. The current reserches aiming to improve treatment effect of DTC including clinical application of rhTSH, retinoic acid inducement to re-differentiation and gene therapy on sodium-iodide symporter. AbstractAbstract
[en] Fusion images of nuclear medicine and CT or MR have overcome the inherent limitations of both modalities, and valuable physiologic information was acquired benefiting from a precise topographic localization. It has been showed to be useful in the evaluation of patients with cancer at diagnosis and staging, in monitoring the response to treatment and during follow up, for early detection of recurrence

AbstractAbstract
[en] 99mTc-EHIDA radionuclide hepatobiliary imaging was performed to evaluate the hepatobiliary functional changes one to two weeks after cryosurgery in portae hepatic of porcine. The imaging shown that the radioactivity of cryosurgical hepatic region was decreased or absent. The time of appearance of radioactivity in intestines was significantly prolonged, and was statistically significant as compared with control group. The biliary tract system was damaged. It was suggested that the perfect protection of biliary system should be accomplished in the cryosurgery of portae hepatic to avoid severe complications
