AbstractAbstract
[en] At the Mainz microtron MAMI A the charged-particle decay of electric multipole resonances in 28Si was studied in (e,e'c) experiments at an incident energy of 183 MeV. From the coincidence spectra integrated over the decay angle the slope of the E1 and E2(E0) form factors as well as the corresponding strength distributions of the observed decay channels channels can be immediately derived. The E1-strength distributions of all charged decay channels yield in the excitation energy range from 14 to 22 MeV an exhaustment of the energy-weighted sum rule of 37% which are in good agreement with the results of photoabsorption and photodisintegration experiments. However the whole extracted E2 (E0)-strength (84% of the isoscalar energy-weighted sum rule) is more than the double as it is observed in scattering experiments with alpha particles, i.e. with isoscalar particles. Because of the surplus of E2(E0)-strength is observed especially in the proton channel it can be concluded on strong E2-isovector admixture in the region of the isoscalar giant E2-resonance. The e'-angular correlations show according to the excitation-energy range strongly different interference structures which are characteristic for the different contributions from overlapping E0-, E1-, and E2-resonances. From the derived strength distributions results that above 14 MeV in the measured coincidence cross section for about one third E0-strength is present. The direct decay of the giant dipole and qudrupole resonance observed already earlier is confirmed. (orig./HSI)

(orig./HSI)Original Title

AbstractAbstract
[en] A 2/12 wide NIM module performs at 2 MHz the routing of <13 bit digital ADC data into the 20 bit address space of a histogramming memory module - thus permitting the autonomous and low dead time acquisition of up to 128 8k singles spectra. Each of the two independent router channels is able to process ADC data according to digitally programmable offset, window, and compression functions. Both router channels may be also linked together in order to allow correlated data from two different ADCs to be histogrammed in a 2-dimensional array of up to 1024x1024 channels. (orig.)

[en] The (α+d) breakup of 60 MeV 6Li scatttered from 208Pb has been measured inside the grazing angle for c.m. energies of the fragments between 100 keV and 1.5 MeV. The distinctly different anisotropies of the sequential and direct breakup components show that Coulomb dissociation cannot be related in a straightforward manner to the astrophysically relevant 4He(d,γ)6Li capture reaction. [en] In this paper we present the first results of applying a digital processing technology in low-level gamma spectroscopy with HPGE detectors. An experimental gamma spectrometer using Flash ADC module is built and tested. The test system is now under development and shows major advantages over the traditional analog technologies. It will be installed for the GENIUS-TF and GENIUS projects in Gran-Sasso in early 2003

AbstractAbstract
[en] The differential cross sections and the vector analysing powers were measured for the elastic and inelastic scattering of 52 MeV vector polarized deuterons from 20Ne, 22Ne, 26Mg, 28Si, 32S, 34S, 36Ar and 40Ar nuclei. Coupled channels analysis was carried out using an axially symmetric rotational model with either prolate or oblate quadrupole deformations for each isotope. Calculations assuming harmonic vibrator model were also carried out. In general, reorientation effects were found to be weak. A global optical model potential containing an imaginary spin-orbit component was found to be the most suitable in describing the experimental data at this energy
