AbstractAbstract
[en] In the paper the method and equipment for forming antiemission coatings based on platinum and zirconium are described. This method is based on the preliminary formation of a multi-layer complex structure consisting of layers of different compositions, with high-temperature annealing of which it is possible to obtain a high-quality layer of zirconium carbide. Later this layer serves as the basis for obtaining one of the most promising types of anti-emission coatings - Pt3Zr. To implement this method an electronic device with a microprocessor module was developed that allows controlling the pressure in the working chamber, as well as regulating the voltages and currents in the vacuum arc installation. [en] Vacuum-arc discharge is an effective method of forming pure metal and metal-like coatings of complex composition. In this paper, the possibility of its use for the production of biocompatible coatings on the example of synthesis of titanium nitride and titanium carbide on metal substrates is evaluated. (paper)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The main task of this work was the selection of the optimal geometry of the optical system for practical application in a small portable device for water resources analysis. Using the COMSOL Multiphysics software the Czerny-Turner and Paschen-Runge optical schemes were modeled, which differ in the number of used elements and spectral resolution. The obtained simulation results allow concluding that the most suitable scheme for a portable device is the Paschen-Runge optical scheme. (paper)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The features of coating formation using vacuum-arc discharge plasma on the inner surface of a cylindrical cavity with transverse ribs in the form of a diaphragm are considered. The mathematical model is developed and expressions for calculation of thickness of coatings are received. The effect of the diaphragm on the thickness distribution and uniformity of the coating is shown. Compression areas directly in front of the barrier affecting the coating deposition rate were found. AbstractAbstract
[en] The paper deals with the control of gas permeability of fluoroplast samples from different manufacturers, as well as Viton rings for vacuum systems. To conduct the study, a stand based on a mass spectrometric leak detector is used. According to the results of the study, it can be said that fluoroplast samples can be recommended for use as seals, and Viton seals require regular replacement to prevent leaks of gases and oils. AbstractAbstract
[en] The paper considers the effect of an external magnetic field on the working regime of a gas-discharge laser. An experimental setup for the displacement of the maximum concentration of particles in plasma in an external transverse magnetic field was constructed. It is revealed that the magnetic field causes growth of the voltage drop in the positive column and a decrease in the current of the discharge. (paper)

[en] In this work the effect of X-ray radiation on the operation of integrated circuits of the measurement equipment is discussed. The results of the calculations of a shielding system, allowing using integrated circuits with a high degree of integration in the vicinity of the X-ray source, are shown. The results of the verification of two measurement devices that was used for more than five years in the facility for training and testing of X-ray tubes are presented. (paper)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The Danilin model for flat ring evaporator was studied and used to calculate the thickness distribution of the coating. The calculations for different types of the cathode current density variations (uniform, triangle and third-degree polynomial) were made. Relation between the magnetron sputtering system parameters providing the most uniform coating was analysed. Research of the target sputtering profile with nonzero cone angle was performed. It was established that in case of the cone angle increasing in the areas of substrate situated under the cathode the sputtered coating becomes thicker. Also at the center and on the edges of the substrate the coating thickness is decreased due to the redistribution of thickness. (paper)
