AbstractAbstract
[en] Experimental data on energy, spatial and charge distributions of light ions and atoms leaving solid surface under irradiation are generalized for the first time. Theoretical models of light ion reflection from polycrystalline solid bodies and models of charge fraction formation are presented. Methods for practical application of light ion scattering for analysis and diagnostics as well as problems of particle reflection and energy under interaction of hydrogen and helium isotopes with walls of thermonuclear facilities of different types are considered

AbstractAbstract
[en] Magnetic spectrometer is described which contains a vacuum chamber with a nozzle for charged particle beam input, an inlet slot, an electromagnet with pole pieces and a flange rigidly fixed with electric inputs, a detecting assembly, inlet and outlet magnetic screens and a diaphragm with openings. To increase the device sensitivity pole pieces are situated in a vacuum chamber and are fixed on a flange; their inside surface is made in a form of n linear sections, which slopes are defined from definite relations. Disposition of pole pieces in a vacuum chamber cavity and profiling of their output boundary allows to improve spectrometer sensitivity at the expense of spectrometer position removing

AbstractAbstract
[en] The experimental and theoretical data on energy distributions of reflected hydrogen atoms are compared with computer simulations based on BCA Monte Carlo code. It is shown that analytical theories fail to describe the dependence of energy spectra parameters on the angle of incidence for small angle scattering of the beam at the energy about few tens of keV. The computer simulations reasonably agree with experimental data. The restriction in computation of the maximum value of scattering angle in each collision results in good agreement of energy spectra of reflected particles with an analytical model

AbstractAbstract
[en] Computer calculations are carried out and experimental facility, which consists of forty round section single coils and simulates two periods for 5-period helical torus, is built to control magnetic configuration properties of the Drakon stationary plasma trap curvilinear element. Results of the theoretical study on diffusion and heat conductivity demonstrate the dramatic decrease of corpuscular and thermal fluxes and of plasma losses in the Drakon trap as compared to the closed system without straight elements

AbstractAbstract
[en] Investigations into angular distribution of fast charged particles which have passed through a plane scatterer of fiuite thickness with the sliding flux incidence on its surface are conducted. A formula for the differential coefficient of particle passage, integrated by azimuthal angle and energy, is derived. The problem of the scatterer thickness effect on the angular distribution of the previous radiation is discussed

AbstractAbstract
[en] A mass spectrometer is described which is intended for analyzing the composition of a gaseous mixture and the light products of the interaction between a hydrogen-helium plasma and the wall in the ducts used to exhaust the limiters and diverters. With an extremely modest resulting power in the dispersive elements the mass spectrometer is able to carry out quantitative analysis of the composition of a beam of light ions with similar values of M/Z (∼ 10-3-10-5) and heavy impurities. The device has a wide dynamic range (9 decades) and makes possible simultaneous detection of two different ion components with similar M/Z (e.g., D2+ and 4He+). 2 refs., 2 figs

AbstractAbstract
[en] The device and simple current-calorimeter technique for measuring energy reflection coefficients Rsub(E) during bombardment at arbitrary angles of metal targets with charged particle beams are described. The device consists of a calorimeter, measuring unit, current-frequency converter, counter, triggering circui, timer. As target and heaters temperature sensors vessel-less silicon transistors have been employed. For experimental determining Rsub(E) the beam delivered energy and the energy due to target temperature increase has been measured. To determine the measuring accuracy the energy which is gained by particles reflected from the target has been determined as well. The absolute accuracy of the Rsub(E) measurement by the given device constitutes +-2.5%
