AbstractAbstract
[en] A method for determining fuel burnup depth in a nuclear reactor fuel element, including placing a sample into an ion source of a mass-separator, subsequent separation and measurement of nuclei of Cs-137 isotope, is proposed. To improve the accuracy of determination of the fuel burnup depth the sample is preliminarily irradiated by a 600 MeV proton beam to accumulate nuclei of Cs-127 and Cs-129 isotopes. Then the γ spectrum is taken, and the absolute number of nuclei of Cs-127 and Cs-129 isotopes is determined according to the given spectrum. After separation the mass spectrum is taken at discrete parts of the mass-separator receiving unit. According to the mass spectrum the number of nuclei of Cs-127,129,137 isotopes is determined. According to the γ- and mass spectra the separation efficiency is determined, and using the latter, the number of Cs-137 nuclei in the sample is estimated. According to the nuclear yield per a fission event of U nucleus and :137Cs quantity, the total number of fission events are determined. 1 fig

AbstractAbstract
[en] The possibility of obtaining criteria for solar flares forecasting is considered. The physical model of the solar flare, based on current layer formation and decay in the solar atmosphere qualifies putting forth the following problems of forecasting: revealing of current layer in the solar atmosphere, determining current layer parameters, forecasting of flare probability. The state of current layer and its characteristic are determined by the following parameters: Nsub(infinity) - ambient plasma concentration, hsub(infinity) -external magnetic field gradient and E0 - electric field at the zero line of the magnetic field. As it has been shown earlier, the stationary regime for such a layer is possible only in a limited value range of the parameter chi=Nsub(infinity)sup(2)Esub(0)/hsub(infinity)sup(2). The problem of forecasting can be reduced to the chi parameter determination which is defined only from radioobservation data. The condition of thermal instability approach of the current layer through the values observed in the radiorange is registered. To verify the condition obtained as criterion of the flare approach radioobservations are indispensable for preflare region with high angular solution (1/180 deg C) directly before flare

[en] The possibilities of applying hippuran- I125 for renography at commercial devices with conventional heavy collimators are estimated. Indices of renograms with hippuran-I125 in patients with a stable kidney function and in those with a unilateral disordered function do not actually differ from the indices with hippuran-I121. When investigating kidney function in patients with a diffusive injury of the organ along with the general increase in the time of secretion and half-life of both types of hippuran the period of hippuran- I125 half-life is authentically longer than that of hippuran-I131. It is mostly advisable to use I125 as a reserve radionuclide. A combined application of two types of hippuran permits to attain a high degree of using preparations and achieve a considerable decrease in their losses

[en] New data on the kinetics of Pb0.99Mn0.01Te single crystals aging at room temperature (RT) and the influence of annealing at 200 0C on the Curie temperature are reported. Magnetic susceptibility curves of samples aged at RT for different times as functions of temperature and changes of Curie point with the time of aging at RT and with the time of annealing at 200 0C are shown and discussed. The influence of annealing on the Curie temperature is a strong argument confirming that this value is determined by the short-range atomic order in Pb1-xMnxTe

[en] The possibility of discovery and diagnostics of preflare current layers in active regions by means of radio observations is considered. The measuring of the radioemission spectra in mm- and cm-wave range with the help of a narrow-beam antenna allows to discover and to carry out the diagnostics of the current layer. The relation of the unit square emission measure eta=ME/S=∫N2dl with the type of radioemission spectra is determined

AbstractAbstract
[en] A method for connection of two pieces of superconducting multi-core cable by mechanical compression of Nb+Ti superconducting conductors free from copper matrix in a tube is described. During testing the contact in a solenoid at approximately 1.T field the contact resistance was equal to < 10-9 Ω. Measurements without external field have revealed that at connection of two parts of superconducting cable by the described method the VA characteristics of the obtained sample correspond to the characteristics of the whole piece of cable
