AbstractAbstract
[en] The model of embryo parabionts of brown frog (Rana temporaria L) is used to clarify the presence or absence of migration of blood cells-precursors before blood circulation closing and it is traced whether there exists the exchange of such cells between the partners in this period. The use of the original method according to which one of the partners is labelled with 3H thymidine and the other is irradiated to temporarily suppress the proliferation of the proper hemopoietic tissue of embryo will enable the authors to conclude that no migration of blood cells-precursors occurs before the closing of blood circulation in intact embryo of brown frog

AbstractAbstract
[en] The ability of blood cell precursors from chicken heart anlage (3 days of incubation) to repopulate hemopoietic organs of irradiated chicken embryo (10 days of incubation) was studied by means of homotransplantation. The grafted cells were labelled with 3H-thymidine. Radiographic examination of hemopoietic organs of the recipient embryo has shown that the most actively repopulated tissue (2 days after grafting) is bone marrow, the spleen, thymus and bursa of Fabricius are occupied at a slower rate. The heart of chicken embryo by the 3d day of incubation thus contains precursor cells that can repopulate hemopoietic organs of recipient embryo

AbstractAbstract
[en] The ability of yolk sac and primary bone marrow cells of the quail to form hemopoietic colonies at 6 hours of incubation (i.e. before establishment of circulation) was studied in the bone marrow of 3-week sublethally irradiated chickens. The experiments were besed on the possibility of differentiating between quail and chicken cells from the natural cell marker (Pheulgen-positive nucleus). The number of hemopoietic colonies produced by cells transplanted from the primary bone marrow was three times greater than that consequent on transplantation of yolk sac cells. With the given dose of irradiation the bone marrow shows about 75% exogenous (quail) and 25% endogenous (chicken) hemopoietic colonies
