AbstractAbstract
[en] Objective: To explore the clinical significance of changes of serum NO, NOS and plasma ET levels after treatment in children with bronchopneumonia. Methods: The plasma concentrations of ET were determined with radioimmunoassay (RIA) and serum NO, NOS contents were determined with biochemical methods both before and after treatment in 44 children with bronchopneumonia as well as in 35 controls. Results: Before treatment, serum concentrations of NO, NOS and plasma ET levels in the patients were significantly higher than those in controls (P<0.01). After 7 days treatment, the levels of NO, NOS, ET in the patients were not much different from those in the controls (P>0.05). Conclusion: Detection of serum NO, NOS and plasma ET levels were useful for assessment of therapeutic efficacy. (authors)

Methods: Serum IGF-II, TNF-α (with RIA) and IL-2, IL-10 (with EIA) contents were measured in 62 children with bronchopneumonia both before and after treatment as well as in 30 controls. Results: Serum levels of IGF-II, TNF-α were significantly higher (P<0.01) in children with bronchopneumonia and serum IL-2, IL-10 levels significantly lower (P<0.01) than those in controls before treatment. After treatment for seven days the serum levels of IGF-II, IL-2, IL-10 and TNF-α in the patients were not much different from those in the controls (P>0.05). Conclusion: Determination of se- rum IGF-II, IL-2, IL-10 and TNF-α levels changes might be of important prognostic values in children with bronchopneumonia. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Laser additive manufacturing (LAM) technology applied to the 316L stainless steel is attracting interest in the machining industry since it can shorten the production cycle and reduce numbers of machining steps. It still needs to be machined because of the poor surface quality, so the tool wear of post milling process after LAM needs to be studied. However, there are a few studies about the tool wear in milling of laser additive manufacturing stainless steel alloy. The aim of the paper is to evaluate the tool wear performance and surface quality when post milling the 316L stainless steel under different post milling (PM) time. The tool wear behavior was investigated using different analysis techniques. 3-D surface contour profilometer was used to measure the surface roughness and observe the morphology of small area; digital optical ultra-depth microscope analysis was carried out to evaluate tool wear and broken; the wear width of the blade was an indicator of the degree of the tool wear; different post milling methods were also compared. The obtained results demonstrate that the height of the LAM parts were connected with the heat dissipation effect; there are three stages of tool wear: initial wear stage, normal processing stage, and severe broken stage; usually the down-milling is better than up-milling at the bottom surface roughness, quality and edge morphology.

AbstractAbstract
[en] To investigate the changes of serum levels of TSGF and CEA in malignant tumor patient serum after chemotherapy and evaluate the relationship between it and therapeutic efficacy. The serum levels of TSGF and CEA in 100 patients were tested before and after chemotherapy. The results showed that the positive rate of TSGF and CEA were 92% and 94%, the average serum concentration of TSGF and CEA were 141.75U/mL and 40.75ng/mL respectively before chemotherapy. The average serum TSGF was 116.50U/mL and declined by 25.25U/mL; and the average serum CEA was 20.50ng/mL and declined by 20.25ng/mL after chemotherapy. The therapeutic efficiency among 100 patients were 15 patients of CR, 18 of PR, 35 of NC, and 32 of PD. The response rate was 33%. In 33 patients of RR, the average serum TSGF and CEA levels were declined by 55U/mL and 32ng/mL respectively. There were no significant changes of serum TSGF and CEA levels in patients of NC and PD. The serum concentration of TSGF and CEA was positively related with metastasis and recurrence of tumor. The serum TSGF level could be regarded as an index to observe therapeutic efficacy and prognosis.(authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Objective: To explore the clinical significance of changes of serum hs-CRP, IL-6 and GM-CSF levels in pediatric mycoplasma pneumonia patients. Methods: Serum hs-CRP(with immunoturbidimetry), IL-6 and GM-CSF (with RIA) levels were determined in 36 patients with pediatric mycoplasma pneumonia patients and 35 normal controls. Results: Serum hs-CRP, IL-6 and GM-CSF levels were significantly higher than those in controls(P < 0.01). Serum hs-CRP level was positively correlated with IL-6 and GM-CSF levels(r = 0.6012, 0.5784, P < 0.01). Conclusion: The cytokines hs-CRP, IL-6 and GM-CSF might participate in the whole process of mycoplasma infection. Monitoring the changes of these cytokines can aid the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of the disease and provides certain clinical value. (author)

[en] Objective: To explore the clinical significance of changes of plasma ET-1 and serum Hcy, cTnI levels in pediatric patients with Kawasaki diseases complicated with coronary artery disorder. Methods: Plasma ET-I (with RIA) and serum Hcy (with immune method), serum cTnl(with Biochemistry) level were measured in 31 patients with Kawasaki diseases complicated with coronary artery disorder and 35 normal controls. Results: Plasma ET-I and serum Hcy, cTnI level were significantly higher than those in controls (P < 0.01). Plasma ET-I levels were positive correlative with serum Hcy, cTnI levels(r = 0.4782, 0.5014, P < 0.01). Conclusion: Detection of plasma ET-1 and serum Hcy, cTnI levels were closely related to the diseases process and possess important clinical values. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Tungsten (W) is considered as promising candidate material for plasma facing components (PFCs) in future fusion reactors attributing to its many excellent properties. Current commercial pure tungsten material in accordance with the ITER specification can well fulfil the performance requirements, however, it has defects such as coarse grains, high ductile–brittle transition temperature (DBTT) and relatively low recrystallization temperature compared with its using temperature, which cannot meet the harsh wall loading requirement of future fusion reactor. Grain refinement has been reported to be effective in improving the thermophysical and mechanical properties of W. In this work, rare earth oxide (Y2O3/La2O3) and carbides (TiC/ZrC) were used as dispersion phases to refine W grains, and micro/nano composite technology with a process of “sol gel – heterogeneous precipitation – spray drying – hydrogen reduction – ordinary consolidation sintering” was invented to introduce these second-phase particles uniformly dispersed into W grains and grain-boundaries. Via this technology, fine-grain W materials with near-full density and relatively high mechanical properties compared with traditional pure W material were manufactured. Preliminary transient high-heat flux tests were performed to evaluate the thermal response under plasma disruption conditions, and the results show that the W materials prepared by micro/nano composite technology can endure high-heat flux of 200 MW/m2 (5 ms)

AbstractAbstract
[en] China's wind power can reach 230 GW of installed capacity by 2020, which is equal to 13 times the current capacity of the Three Gorges Dam; its annual electricity output of 464.9 TWh could replace 200 coal fire power plants. In 2009, China led the world in newly installed wind-energy devices, reaching a capacity of 13.8 GW (10,129 turbines) - a rate of one new turbine every hour. In terms of overall capacity, China ranks second, at 25.8 GW. The report projects that by 2020, China's total wind power capacity will reach at least 150GW, possibly up to 230GW, which, if realized, could cut 410 million tons of CO2 emission, or 150 million tons of coal consumption. Compared to multinationals, many Chinese companies are young and lack a strong basis for research and development. Despite a renewable energy policy requiring grid companies to purchase all electricity from wind farms, access to wind power for the grid is frequently lagging behind an unstable, out-dated grid infrastructure. There is also the problem of a lack of incentives and penalties for grid companies, and slow progress in more wind energy technologies.
