AbstractAbstract
[en] The basic theory of break-in-slope method in calculating the profile of auxiliary heating power deposition is presented. Using this method, the profile of ECRH power deposition is carried out by analyzing electron temperature and density at the time of ECRH injection on HL-2A for the first time. The applicability of this method is proved. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Maximum likelihood method to process the data of HL-2A Thomson scattering system is presented. Using mathematical statistics, this method maximizes the possibility of the likeness between the theoretical data and the observed data, so that we could get more accurate result. It has been proved to be applicable in comparison with that of the ratios method, and some of the drawbacks in ratios method do not exist in this new one. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Using the γ-ray source (average energy 0.2 MeV), DPF neutron source and the linear calculation methods, the measurement results are stated. The response (compared with ST-401 crystals) to 0.2 MeV γ-ray of the PbWO4 crystals is about 1:2, the ratio of n/γ of the PbWO4 crystals is about 1:6 and the decay time of the PbWO4 crystals is about 6 ns. AbstractAbstract
[en] The principle of dense plasma focus (DPF) as neutron generator has been investigated in this paper. The authors have stated briefly some factors that mainly influence the DPF's neutron yield and some methods improving the stability of neutron yields on the dense plasma focus. It is showed that the fluctuation of DPF output neutron becomes smaller by using different types of field-distortion elements. Over 100 consecutive shots without purging the test gas the neutron yields has no obvious change. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The principle of dense plasma focus (DPF) device used as a neutron generator is discussed. Some factors that influence the DPF discharge and its neutron yield are emphasized. Some methods to improve the stability of neutron yields on DPF are discussed. Using different types of electronics and field-distortion elements with different test gases, the fluctuation of the neutron output decreases from about two orders of magnitude to about 3 times. With proper cleaning the electrodes inside the gun, the neutron yield has no clear decrease without changing the test gas. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Based on the numerical calculation and experiment measurement, the radiated-shielding effects on the B4C+CH2 material to D-T neutron are gained. Using the results, the authors designed a detecting shielding system to measure the neutron decay constant (constant) of the zero-power assembly promptly. the s/n ratio and measurement of the neutron decay constant is in accordance with to the system design data and the numerical calculation.
