AbstractAbstract
[en] The device comprises, for each tube in a zone where the tube is inside a tube plate, two annular concentric spaces, spaced along the length of the tube. The annular spaces of all the tubes form two groups situated in two different zones spaced along the axial direction of the tubes. Two groups of junction pipes between the annular spaces of a same row corresponding to each one of the annular spaces are connected to fluid detectors outside the tube plate. One determines the tubes presenting leaks by matrix locating on tube rows having two different directions. The invention applies, more particularly, to steam generators, heated by liquid sodium, of fast neutron nuclear reactors

AbstractAbstract
[en] The tube comprises two coaxial tubular walls arranged with a very small space and then hooped. The outer surface of the inner wall and the inner surface of the outer wall are connected by a thin layer of brazing metal along discontinuous zones as well in the circumferential direction as in the longitudinal direction. The brazed zones represent from 5 to 15% of the wall surfaces facing each other. The invention applies, more particularly, to fast neutron steam generators of which safety is increased

AbstractAbstract
[en] The effects of single OP and the mixture of various concentrations of OP and 0.1 M NaCl on the corrosion of cold-rolled steel in 1.0-3.5 M phosphoric acid have been investigated by using weight loss method and polarization method. This study revealed that cold-rolled steel in phosphoric acid has been more efficiently inhibited by OP in the presence of NaCl than single OP, and inhibition efficiency increases with increasing concentration of OP at the same temperature, but decreases with increasing temperature studied. A synergistic effect exists when OP and chloride ion are used together to prevent cold-rolled steel corrosion in 1.0-3.5 M phosphoric acid at every experimental temperature. The polarization curves showed that OP is a cathodic inhibitor, while the complex of OP and NaCl is a mixed-type inhibitor that mainly inhibits the cathodic corrosion of the steel. The experimental results suggested that the presence of chloride ion in the solution stabilized the adsorption of OP molecules on the metal surface and improved the inhibition efficiency of OP. The adsorption of single OP follows the Langmuir adsorption isotherm, and the adsorption of the complex accords with the Langmuir adsorption isotherm too. Some thermodynamic parameters such as adsorption heat, adsorption entropy and adsorption free energy have been calculated by employing thermodynamic equations. Kinetic parameters such as apparent activation energy and pre-exponential factor have been calculated and discussed. In 1.5-3.5 M phosphoric acid, the concentration pre-exponential factor and acid concentration constant have been calculated, and the synergistic effect has been observed too

AbstractAbstract
[en] In this Letter, we discuss a class of Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with time delays and investigate their global asymptotic stability of the equilibrium point for this systems. By introducing a new type of Lyapunov functionals, a set of sufficient conditions guaranteeing the global asymptotic convergence are derived. Our criteria represent an extension of the existing results in literatures. Combined with the linear matrix inequality technique, a new generalized, LMI based, criterion is obtained. The presented result is more easily to verified and turns out to be less restrictive than those given in the earlier literature

AbstractAbstract
[en] The corrosion inhibition of neutral red on the corrosion of cold rolled steel in 1.0 M hydrochloric acid (HCl) was studied using weight loss method and potentiodynamic polarization method. Results obtained revealed that neutral red is an effective inhibitor. It was found that the adsorption of neutral red could prevent steel from weight loss and the adsorption accorded with the Langmuir adsorption isotherm. Potentiodynamic polarization studies showed that neutral red mainly acted as a mixed-type inhibitor for steel in 1.0 M hydrochloric acid. Thermodynamic parameters such as adsorption heat, adsorption entropy and adsorption free energy were obtained from experimental data of the temperature studies of the inhibition process at four temperatures ranging from 30 to 45 deg. C. The most suitable range of inhibitor concentration was discussed. The kinetic data such as apparent activation energies and pre-exponential factors at different concentrations of the inhibitor were calculated, the effect of the apparent activation energies and pre-exponential factors on the corrosion rates of cold rolled steel was discussed. The inhibitive action was satisfactorily explained by using both thermodynamic and kinetic models. Synergism between chloride ion and neutral red was proposed. The results obtained from weight loss and potentiodynamic polarization were in good agreement

AbstractAbstract
[en] The numerous recent works devoted to the study of cosmic ray fluctuations and the analysis of reliability of their regularities has given rise to the urgent necessity that the methods for discriminating such fluctuations against the noise background and their possible nature should be studied in detail. Such study is actually divided into quite a number of independent problems relevant to the origin and development of the fluctuations depending on the processes in interplanetary space

AbstractAbstract
[en] We present a quantum interpretation of the heights in hysteresis of Fe8 molecule at lower temperatures by treating the crystal as an Ising spin system with the dipolar interaction between spins. Then we apply it to two limit cases: rapid and adiabatic regions. Our theoretical analysis is in agreement with the experimental observation in these regions, which indicates that the steps in hysteresis loops of magnetization of Fe8 at lower temperatures show a pure quantum process

AbstractAbstract
[en] In 1981-1985 the neutron component of cosmic rays was recorded, the effect of cosmic ray multiplication in lead being disregarded. The recording device consisted of neutron counters placed in a polyethylene retarder (polyethylene tubes with wall thickness of 2 cm). The device registered neutrons formed directly on the surface or not deep underground; the intensity of neutrons depended on the chemical composition of the substance. The neutron component was also measured in the Moscow Canal, Belomor-Baltic Canal, and in the Atlantic Ocean. The time variation of 5 minute data of the intensity obtained in the Belomor-Baltic Canal and in the Atlantic Ocean relative to the mean value in the open sea (in %) is presented
