AbstractAbstract
[en] AP1000 main coolant pipe is manufactured for the first time in the world by using super low-carbon nitrogen control stainless steel integral forging technology, which is different from the traditional PWR centrifugal casting pipe. It has the following characteristics: smelting and forging with strict requirements, long machining time, complex bending techniques. In this paper, the key quality control and supervision points in the pipe's manufacturing process are provided based on technical summary. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] When a laser is irradiated on a negative ion, it will provide a coherent, mono-energetic source of detached electrons propagating out from the location of the negative ion. The total escape probability density of the electrons when the negative ion is placed inside an open nano-circular microcavity has been studied on the basis of the semiclassical theory. It is shown that significant oscillations appear in the total escape probability density due to the quantum interference effects. Besides, our study suggests that the escape probability density depends on the laser polarization sensitively. In order to show the correspondence between the escaped probability density and the detached electron's escaped orbits clearly, we calculate the path length spectrum and find that each peak corresponds to the length of one detached electron's escaped orbit. This study provides an example where the quantum nature of the electron's wave function can be observed in the macroscopic world. Our study may guide the future experimental research on the escape and transport process of particles through semiconductor microjunctions.

AbstractAbstract
[en] This study is aimed at investigating the dynamic buckling load, dynamic stiffness, damping and buckling characteristics of the spacer grid assembly (SGA). A pendulum impact test system is designed to experiment the buckling of SGAs. Three criterions are discussed and compared to determine the buckling loads of SGAs: B-R criterion, energy criterion and extreme value criterion. Two approaches are applied to calculate the dynamic stiffness of SGAs: One method is natural period method based on the hypothesis of harmonic motion of the pendulum whose period is approximated because of the passivation and tailing of the impact force time history; and the other is energy method based on the conservation of mechanical energy. The equivalent viscous damping is defined as the resultant cause of dissipation and is obtained by the energy principle. The impact force time history loses its approximate symmetry after buckling occurs. The impact force and displacement reach their maxima almost at the same time at pre-buckling states but not post-buckling states. Vertical straps in SGA are found to be transversely shared by horizontal straps at the buckling position. The buckling of SGA results from the lack of strength of complete structure; and the strength of material has no effects on the buckling.

AbstractAbstract
[en] The influence of plasma density on plasma discharge has been introduced. In order to obtain the long pulse discharge, the Langmuir probe was employed to measure the plasma density and to control the plasma discharge with feedback. The hardware and software of the control parts were designed and the plasma density feedback control system was established based on the Langmuir probe measurement. Besides, the system was applied to the ion source plasma discharge experiment successfully. The long pulse discharge of 4.5 s was got and it provides the fundamental for the steady-state operation of neutral beam injection in the future. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] This article analyzes the thickness of gas target, which is one of the factors to affect the neutralization efficiency of the neutral beam injection, and carries on the engineering design of the correlation parts of the diagnostic neutral beam injector on HT-7 Tokamak using the pressure analysis. A set of impulsive gas charge system is also established to realize accurate and real-time adjustment for the system pressure, and to optimize beam quality. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] 4 patients with skeletal metastases treated with 90Y-EDTMP, 4 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma receiving artery perfusion treatment with 90Y-GTMS and 8 patients treated with 32P-colloid by interstitial and local injection were undergone Bremsstrahlung image with SPECT. High energy collimator was used and a wide energy window was selected by experience. The outline of image attained was clear, the contrast was good and radiopharmaceutical biodistribution could be clearly defined. It is concluded that this technique is of value for observing the clinical course, evaluating the effect of treatment, and predicting prognosis, and explaining clinical phenomena in patients treated with pure β emitter

AbstractAbstract
[en] Wittichenite Cu_3BiS_3 semiconductor thin films were deposited on glass slides within a range in substrate temperature from 250 °C to 400 °C via spray pyrolysis approach. Effects of substrate temperature on crystal structure, surface morphology, and optical property of Cu_3BiS_3 films were investigated in details. Pictures from a scanning electron microscope revealed that the as-prepared films in polycrystalline nature were uniform and comprised of close-packed fine nanoparticles, which grew up greatly by increasing substrate temperature to 350 °C. The as-prepared Cu_3BiS_3 film exhibited a direct optical band gap between 1.65 eV and 1.72 eV. - Highlights: • Depositing wittichenite Cu_3BiS_3 thin films via spray pyrolysis • Polycrystalline Cu_3BiS_3 films were comprised of densely packed nanoparticles. • Direct optical band gaps of the films lie between 1.65 eV and 1.72 eV

AbstractAbstract
[en] Objective: To evaluate the biocompatibility, immunology and physiologic features of encapsulated Newborn Porcine Islets (NPI) in the liver of the recipient dogs with type I diabetes. Methods: Type I diabetic dogs were perfused with 400000-600000 encapsulated NPI (group A, n=15) or unencapsulated NPI (group B, n=15) through the hepatic artery without immunosuppressive treatment. Liver function and CD4/CD8 in the recipients were measured before and after the transplantation. The livers from all NPI recipient dogs were analyzed by histopathology 6 months after transplantation(Tx). Results: Insulin dose administrated to group A was reduced gradually within one week after Tx, from 22 u before Tx to 5 u after Tx, exogenous insulin required for group B was decreased from 24 u to 10 u. However, 2 to 3 weeks after Tx, the insulin dose given to group B returned to the original level before Tx. In contrast, the amount of insulin administrated to group A was continually reduced to 8 u. Moreover, CD4 + cells in the blood of group B recipients were higher than that before Tx, whereas no significant alteration of CD4+ cells and CD8+ cells in the blood of group A after Tx. All NPI recipient dogs demonstrated a normal function and structure of the liver after Tx. Conclusion: Microcapsulated NPI has a good biocompatibility in recipients livers providing prolongation of xenograft survival, and correcting the hyperglycemia of diabetic canines. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] In the previous rod dropping computation, it was assumed that the flow in the discharge orifices of the guide thimble are all of outflow throughout the rod dropping course, while, in fact, the inflow occurs. To handle this problem, it is assumed that inflow and outflow exist in each discharge orifice. The energy dissipation is analyzed on every flow section, having changes in shape or area. By introducing the flow indexes to represent the flow status of each orifice, a set of equations of the Bernoulli and flow conservation is subsequently developed by accumulating all flow status with these indexes. The flow status, pressure and velocity in the guide thimble are iteratively solved and used to compute the drag force on the control rod assembly. The dropping time is finally solved by substituting the drag force into the equation of dropping motion. The dropping time is obtained as 2.133 s while it is 2.036 s if the flow reversed is neglected and the outflow is assumed. It is indicated that the flow reverse has a significant effect on the dropping course and dropping time. Hence, this iterative method is a preferable choice of the flow computation for the guide thimble. (authors)
