AbstractAbstract
[en] Recombinant Human Granulocyte Colony-stimulating Factor (rhG-CSF) is a kind of effective cell factor in promoting recovery of hematopoietic system, which can be used in clinical treatment for acute radiation sickness from external exposure. The research status of rhG-CSF's function mechanism, clinical indications, as well as its joint application with other cytokines is presented. Its application in treatment of radiation accident patients is also introduced. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Adipose stem cells (ASCs), with a series of biological characteristics of adult stem cells, such as rapid proliferation in vitro, differentiation into different lineages and low immunogenicity, have a great potential for application in the field of cell therapy. The biological characteristics of ASCs are introduced, and the progress of application in the treatment of radiation skeletal muscle injury is reviewed. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Hydrogel is a kind of polymer with three dimensional network structure which has hydrophilic group and can be swelled by water but not soluble in water. As a new biomedical material, hydrogel has been widely used in wound dressing, drug carrier, tissue scaffold and many other medical fields. In this paper, the application of hydrogel in the treatment of radiation injury and radiation protection is introduced in detail. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The major cause of death of acute radiation sickness from external exposure is severe infection, prevention and control of which is the key to the treatment of acute radiation sickness. This paper introduces the current research status of the pathogenesis, clinical manifestation, prevention and treatment measures, and prognostic outcomes of acute radiation sickness from external exposure, considering its concurrent infection. AbstractAbstract
[en] Radiotherapy is an important means of treatment of malignant tumor, but at the same time of killing lesions, also can damage the normal skin. Mesenchymal stem cells, with wide range of sources and strong multi differentiation potential, have broad prospect of clinical application. They are explored with respect to the repair mechanism and the clinical application for skin damage. (authors)
