AbstractAbstract
[en] In this demonstration, we first propose and experimentally investigate an L-band multi-wavelength source only using a C-band reflective semiconductor optical amplifier (RSOA) and a linear cavity formed by a fiber coupler, a polarization controller and a reflected fiber mirror. According to the proposed laser structure, two to seven wavelengths can be generated simultaneously in the L-band when the RSOA is operated at different bias currents. Moreover, the stability performances of output power and lasing wavelength are also discussed. (letter)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Locking effects of error fields on a tearing mode in Tokamak are studied numerically using the three-dimensional toroidal code based on a full set of magnetohydrodynamic equations. It is found that a threshold of the error field for mode locking exists and depends on the plasma rotation and the ramp-up time of the error field. The mode locking threshold increases with increasing the rotation frequency and the ramp-up time of the error field. Moreover, the results from the multiple helical error field suggest that the m/n = 3/1 and 4/2 error field along with the m/n = 2/1 error field can increase both the m/n = 2/1 perturbation and its higher-harmonics through the mode coupling due to both the toroidal and nonlinear effects, but it becomes more effective if the 4/2 error field is imposed directly. The 3/1 error field in-phase (anti-phase) with the 2/1 error field leads to a positive (negative) contribution to intensification of the 2/1 tearing mode and mode locking. (paper)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Highlights: • High grade EC had significantly lower ADC, lower Dapp, and higher Kapp than that of low grade EC. • High grade EC had higher skewness and kurtosis of ADC and Dapp than that of low grade EC. • DK imaging model was feasible for distinguishing tumour grades of EC. • The histogram analysis of DKI was superior to ADC in discriminating tumour grades in EC. To evaluate the diagnostic performance of histogram analysis of diffusion kurtosis magnetic resonance imaging (DKI) and standard diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) in discriminating tumour grades of endometrial carcinoma (EC).

[en] Highlights: • The differentiation between GBM and solitary MET is a radiological challenge. • The Radscore was significant in the differentiation between GBM and solitary MET. • The radiomics classifier based on CE-T1WI yielded good performance. • The radiomics signature will facilitate the differentiation of GBM from solitary MET. To differentiate glioblastoma (GBM) from solitary brain metastases (MET) using radiomic analysis.
