AbstractAbstract
[en] In heavy ion reaction, emission of light particles and detection are very important. Two detectors of light particle have been developed. One is a liquid scintillator detector to detect fast neutrons. Another is a plastic scintillator detector for energetic protons. In fact, the authors will use this combination of two detectors with the neutron-sphere detector to use in research of reaction mechanism of Hot-nuclei. For example, it detects the fast neutron emitted from the Hot-nuclei and removes the energetic protons in the meantime

AbstractAbstract
[en] Grafting polymerization of N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPAAm) onto cotton cellulose preirradiated in air by 60Co-γ-rays was accomplished in mixed solvents of water and alcohols or acetone. The grafting yields changed with different ratios of water and organic solvents. In the system of solvents comprised of water and methanol, the Trommsdorff effect appeared in the curve of the grafting yields vs. the concentrations of the monomer. In the same system, the dependence of the grafting yield of NIPAAm on the grafting temperature was different from that of acrylamide (AAm). The relation between the grafting yields of the samples and their crystallinities measured by X-ray diffraction could be regarded as a proof of the 'third-phase' conception. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The combination of pyridine ligands, (OCl4Tc)-, and O atom acceptors of different cone angles, such as PMe2Ph or PPh3, results in TcIII complexes that vary in the coordination of the phosphine ligand. The compounds mer[Cl3(4-picoline)3Tc] and mer-(Cl3(4-picoline)(PMe2Ph)2Tc) have been obtained in good yield and have been characterized spectroscopically and by single-crystal x-ray diffraction. The crystal structure data are reported. Linear correlations of technetium reduction potentials in DMF with electrochemical ligand additivity parameters (EL's) have been obtained for the TcII,I, TcIII,II, and TcIV,III couples. The slope and intercept (SM, IM) pairs for each technetium oxidation-reduction couple, respectively, are (1.39, -2.07), (1.29, -0.91), and (1.00, 0.65). 32 refs., 3 figs., 6 tabs
