AbstractAbstract
[en] A phosphich-detector and the pulse shape analyzer of this detector are described. The phosphich-detector consists of a crystal of CsI(Tl) placed in a sleeve made of a plastic scintillator. Electrons of energy up to 25 MeV and protons of up to 120 MeV are stopped in the CsI(Tl) crystal, while relativistic protons and high-energy electrons pass through the plastic scintillator. To separate the signals from the different types of scintillator an electronic circuit is used. The proposed separation circuit has a capacitance-loaded delay line. This reduces the probability of false operation of the discriminator. A procedure for electron and physical adjustment of the device is described. The efficiency of the phosphich-detector with respect to charged particles is determined

[en] Results of measuring cosmic electrons in the range of 7-40 MeV are presented. Experiments have been carried out by means of an electron spectrometer installed in the Prognoz 4 satellite. Electron spectrum obtained has been compared with data of other measurements. Revealed differences in experimental data result from equipment background which is present in most measurements

[en] Detector characteristics are investigated for solar neutron detection at cosmic stations. It is shown that usage of the identification method by the shape of scintillation flash is CsI(Tl) provides for reliable discrimination of neutron and γ-quanta in the studied energy range. Estimations are obtained for the identification efficiency of secondary protons and electrons in 13,5-80 MeV. The spectrum of isotopic composition of the products of neutron interaction with Cs and nuclei is estimated. Dependences are calculated of the neutron detection efficiency on the identification circuit threshold for space conditions. 14 refs.; 8 figs.; 1 tab
