AbstractAbstract
[en] Highlights: • Operation characteristics of three-kind of water turbines in flood season were proposed. • Complicated water volume and hydraulic relation in flood season was proposed. • Short term operation model of Three-gorge and Gezhouba cascade hydropower stations was proposed. • Three operation rules in flood season were proposed and verified. - Abstract: In this paper, we promote an effective approach to develop short-term operation solutions for Three-gorge and Gezhouba cascade hydropower stations in flood season. After a rule discovery step, three operation rules are proposed and verified by a case study with a numerical model using genetic algorithm. Operation solutions with rules applied can be obtained with larger objective values and higher optimization efficiency. When average water discharge of Three-gorge reservoir exceeds 30,000 m"3/s, water level of Gezhouba reservoir should rise or fall down to a key value firstly and stay at the key value in the rest time of an operation period. The corresponding water discharge processes can maximize total allowable output capacity and total amount of electricity. When average water discharge ranges from 20,000 m"3/s to 30,000 m"3/s, hydraulic head of Gezhouba hydropower station is the decision factor. Solutions are optimal in which average hydraulic head is more near 17.0 m. When average water discharge is less than 20,000 m"3/s, several factors should be considered for operation decision, such as maximum water discharge capacity, initial water level of Gezhouba reservoir. Optimal operation solutions can be obtained in which water level of Gezhouba reservoir in an operation period follows as an expected process

AbstractAbstract
[en] The characteristic X-ray intensities of Ag-Lα, Lβ1, Lβ2 and Lγ1 are measured in electron-impact ionization at energy of 10 keV. The emission angle in this work ranges from 0° to 20° at interval of 5°. The angular dependence of L X-ray intensity ratios has been investigated for Lα / Lβ1, Lβ2 / Lβ1 and Lγ1 / Lβ1. It is found from the experimental results that the emissions of Lβ1, Lβ2 and Lγ1 X-rays are spatially isotropic, while the Lα X-rays exhibit anisotropic emission. Consequently, the alignment behavior of vacancy states is discussed with thorough analysis of vacancy transfer process. - Highlights: • Only the Lα X-rays are found to be spatially anisotropic in the measurement. • The alignment of L3-subshell is influenced by vacancy transfer process. • Different alignment behaviors in previous work have been clarified.

AbstractAbstract
[en] The visualization experiment was built up to record the bubbles bursting at a free water surface with a high speed video camera for the whole process. The whole process could be divided into following successive stages: A floating bubble, the drainage of the liquid film, the puncture of the bubble cap, the film rolling-up and the liquid ring formed with the hole expanding, fine film drops emission under the effect of destabilization of a Rayleigh type. The punctured position and the film rolling speed of the bursting bubble, which were both important parameters for the dynamics of the film drop formation, were obtained by the subsequent image processing. The results of 137 bubbles with 2-18 mm curvature radius range, shows that the puncture mainly happens at the foot of the bubble, while a few bubbles indeed begin bursting at the top or in the middle of the bubble cap. The expression correlating the bubble curvature radius with the film rolling speed is obtained by fitting the data with the bubble radius ranging from 7 mm to 28 mm. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] A new kind of droplet space distribution measuring technique was introduced mainly, and the experimental device which was designed for the measuring the space distribution and traces of the flying film droplet produced by the bubble breaking up near the free surface of the water. This experiment was designed with a kind of water-sensitivity test paper (rice paper) which could record the position and size of the colored scattering droplets precisely. The rice papers were rolled into cylinders with different diameters by using tools. The bubbles broke up exactly in the center of the cylinder, and the space distribution and the traces of the droplets would be received by analysing all the positions of the droplets produced by the same size bubble on the rice papers. AbstractAbstract
[en] The phenomenon that bubble bursting results in drops production is common in the steam generator of the nuclear power plant, and the fine drops generated by this way is one of the most important source of the drop entrainment in the vapor stream. The visualization experiment about the film drops produced by the bursting bubbles at a free water surface was studied using a high-speed video camera. The results show that the bubble cap breaks up in a single point, within the limits of bubble size in the experiment at present. The whole process can be distinguished into four successive stages: A primary inertial drainage, the bubble cap puncture at the foot or on the top, the film rolls-up and the liquid ring appearing with the hole expanding, and fine film drops emission under the effect of destabilization of a Rayleigh-Taylor type. The expression about the bubble radius and the film drops number is obtain by fitting the experiment data at the bubble radius range from 3-25 mm. The result trend agrees well with the previous work. AbstractAbstract
[en] Purpose: To investigate the use of long-circulation liposome (LCL) for the delivery of encapsulated oligonucleotide with or without radioiodine-125 (125I) to MCF-7 breast cancer cells in vitro. Methods: (1) Oligonucleotide was labeled with 125I using thallium chloride tetrahydrate (TICL3) as an oxidant. 125I-oligonucleotide was separated from free oligonucleotide or 125I by column chromatography (Sephadex G-25). The efficiency of labeling and the radiochemistry purity were obtained using chromatography of paper. (2) Oligonucleotide with or without 125I encapsulating LCL were prepared in the means of reverse-phase evaporation. The crude LCL were then repeatedly extruded through 400 nm, 200 nm, 100 nm polycarbonate membranes consecutively. Uncapsulated oligonucleotide with or without 125I was separated from LCL formulations by passing down a sephadex G-50 column in 0.01 M HEPES buffer. Pooled LCL encapsulated oligonucleotide with or without 125I fractions were sterile through 0.22 μm filters prior to use. The method of protamine sulfate precipitation was utilized to gain the efficiency of encapsulation. (3) MCF-7 cells were grown in RPMI1640 media containing 10% heat-inactivated fetal calf serum. (4)Time-dependent uptake of 125I-oligonucleotide was studied by measuring the radioactivity of MCF-7 cells. Results: The efficiency of labeling and radiochemistry purity of bcl-2 antisense-, sense- and nonsense-oligonucleotide were 84.52% and 97.49%, 58.05% and 95.40%, 74.6% and 98.7%, respectively. The efficiency of encapsulation of bcl-2 antisense-, sense- and nonsense-oligonucleotide is 77.58%, 45.98%, 38.2%, respectively. (3) The par cle size of LCL formulations(∼120 nm) was determined by laser scattering techniques. During the period of observation from 20 min to 300 min, the radioactivity of tumor cells was almost as same as the background. Conclusions: LCL can not effectively deliver oligonucleotide with 125I into MCF-7 cells in vitro. To achieve the active targeting ability, there is a need to conjugate ligands overpressed in a kind of cancer to the surface of LCL. With both the internal irradiation to and antisense effect on tumor cells, LCL containing 125I-oligonucleotide may well act as an effective therapeutic agent in vitro and in vivo. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Antisense imaging is an important part in the field of nuclear medicine imaging. The method of 99Tcm-labeling oligonucleotides was reviewed in this article based on the preparation of antisense oligonucleotide probes. It mainly involves the chemical modification, the appropriate labeling method of oligonucleotides, the advantages of different kinds of chelators, the optimization of the reaction conditions of labeling and the usage in antisense imaging. A simple programmatic way to synthesize a stable and efficient gene antisense probe will provide new impetus in the development of antisense imaging, and bring the goodness to the diagnosis and treatment of tumors. AbstractAbstract
[en] A case of malignant inflammatory myofibroblastoma was reported. The characteristics of the disease were analyzed using clinical symptoms, CT, 18F-FDG PET/CT examination, clinical diagnosis, pathological diagnosis, and prognosis. The understanding of this disease was deepened through literature review. The case was verified as malignant inflammatory myofibroblastoma. The disease progresses quickly and had low specificity. Diagnosis needed pathology and prognosis. Myofibroblastoma is mostly benign, and the incidence of malignant diseases is small. Once myofibroblastoma occurs, it is easy to misdiagnose. Thus, a combination of clinical, imaging, pathological, therapeutic, and prognostic considerations is needed. (authors)
