AbstractAbstract
[en] The present work uses two-temperature model and Cattaneo's constitutive model to study the thermomechanical responses and the size effect on energy transport during ultrafast laser heating of Au nanofilms. It is shown that the grain size effects on thermophysical properties, heat transport and thermal stresses are rather evident when the average grain diameter is less than the electron mean free path. The study on heat transport shows that there are two heat waves propagating in the lattice during nonequilibrium heating of films. It is found that the classical thermoelastic theory can not reveal the generation of the ultrafast thermal stresses during nonequilibrium heating; however, it can approximately describe the stress evolution in the stage of thermal equilibrium.

AbstractAbstract
[en] The degradation of spectral properties of thermal control coatings on spacecrafts is investigated in this paper. By studying their physical components and geometry structure, the factors which determine the spectral properties of the coatings are founded. A theoretical model for calculating the spectral absorptance of coatings is proposed based on the Mie's theory and Stratified Media theory. Mathematical expressions are introduced for accounting for the effect of the complicated environment. Based on these work, a predicting model for the degradation of spectral absorptance properties of the coatings is established. To validate this model, the predicted degradation performance of spectral properties of zinc oxide based coatings under electrons and protons exposure are compared with the experimental data. A good agreement is found at the wavelength between 250 nm and 2500 nm. Finally, a useful approach for predicting the degradation behaviors of thermal control coatings on spacecrafts in orbit is established.

AbstractAbstract
[en] The similarity of the charge form factors between 3He and 3H observed experimentally, and the central hole of 3He charge density are in conflict with traditional nuclear structure theory with meson exchange currents. We claim that these conflicts are strong signals for the existence of multiquark clusters in nuclei. The hybrid quark hadron model reproduces these experimental data quite well

[en] Type-III seesaw scenario predicts the existence of the heavy charged leptons, which might generate observable signals in future collider experiments. We consider the contributions of these new particles to the process e+e-→HH. We find that, for the large mixing between the light and heavy leptons, these new particles can indeed generate significant contributions to this process. (authors)

[en] The left-right twin Higgs (LRTH) model predicts the existence of the neutral Higgs bosons (h, φ0), which can be produced in pairs (φ0φ0, hh, φ0h) via γγ collisions at the next generation e+e- International Linear Collider (ILC). Our numerical results show that the production cross section of the neutral Higgs boson pair φ0φ0 can reach 8.8 fb. The subprocess γγ → φ0φ0 might be used to test the LRTH model in future ILC experiments. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] In the framework of little Higgs models and the three-site Higgsless model, we discuss the contributions of the new charged gauge boson W' to the process eq→νq' and the possibility of detecting W' via this process in future high energy linear e+e- collider (ILC) and ep collider (THERA) experiments. Our numerical results show that the process eq→νq' is rather sensitive to the coupling W'ff', and one can use this process to distinguish different new physics models in future ILC and THERA experiments. AbstractAbstract
[en] In the framework of the left-right twin Higgs model, we study pair production of the neutral Higgs bosons at the International Linear Collider (ILC) and the CERN LHC. We find that the production cross section of the process e+e-→φ0h are at the level of several tens fb at the ILC, the production cross section of the φ0φ0 pair and φ0h pair are at the level of several hundreds fb at the LHC. As long as the neutral Higgs boson φ0 is not too heavy, we conclude that its pair production might be used to test for the left-right twin Higgs model at the LHC experiment or in the future ILC experiment.

AbstractAbstract
[en] The contributions of the neutral top-pion πt0 and the nonuniversal gauge boson Z' predicted by the topcolor scenario to the lepton flavor violating semileptonic τ decays τ→lP(V) (P=π0, η, η' and V=ρ0, φ) are discussed. We find that the contributions of Z' to these decay processes are generally larger than those from πt0. πt0 can only make the value of the branching ratio Br(τ→lP) in the range of 1x10-11-1x10-16, which is far below the sensitivity of foreseeable experiments. With reasonable values of the free parameters, the nonuniversal gauge boson Z' can make the value of the branching ratio Br(τ-→μ-φ) reach 1x10-7, which might approach the observable threshold of near-future experiments

AbstractAbstract
[en] Human RecQ helicase family, consisting of RECQL, RECQL4, RECQL5, BLM and WRN, has critical roles in genetic stability and tumorigenesis. Although RECQL5 has been reported to correlate with the susceptibility to malignances including osteosarcoma, the specific effect on tumor genesis and progression is not yet clarified. Here we focused on the relationship between RECQL5 expression and osteosarcoma disease progression, and further investigated the function of RECQL5 on MG-63 cell proliferation and apoptosis. By immunohistochemical analysis, qRT-PCR and western blot, we found that RECQL5 expression was downregulated in osteosarcoma tissues and cells. Patients with advanced tumor stage and low grade expressed lower RECQL5. To construct a stable RECQL5 overexpression osteosarcoma cell line (MG-63-RECQL5), RECQL5 gene was inserted into the human AAVS1 safe harbor by CRISPR/Cas9 system. The overexpression of RECQL5 was verified by qRT-PCR and western blot. Cell proliferation, cell cycle and apoptosis assay revealed that RECQL5 overexpression inhibited proliferation, induced G1-phase arrest and promoted apoptosis in MG-63 cells. Collectively, our results suggested RECQL5 as a tumor suppressor in osteosarcoma and may be a potential therapeutic target for osteosarcoma treatment. - Highlights: • The expression of RECQL5 was downregulated in osteosarcoma tissues and cells. • Decreased RECQL5 correlated with osteosarcoma Enneking surgical classification. • We constructed a stable RECQL5 overexpression cell line by CRISPR/Cas9 system. • RECQL5 overexpression inhibited proliferation of MG-63 cells. • RECQL5 overexpression promoted apoptosis of MG-63 cells.

AbstractAbstract
[en] In the context of the littlest Higgs (LH) model and the left-right twin Higgs (LRTH) model, we study the production of charged Higgs boson associated with top partner at the LHC. We find that, in the LH model, its cross section can be significantly larger for the scale parameter f = 500 GeV, while sharply decreases as f increases. In the LRTH model, this production process mainly transfers to the t-bar tb-bar bb final state at the Large Hadron Collider and its production rate can reach 167.2 fb. (authors)
