AbstractAbstract
[en] The study and advance of the offsite radiological monitoring system and technology which is an important branch in the field of nuclear monitoring technology are described. The author suggests that the predicting and measuring system should be involved in the monitoring system. The measuring system can further be divided into four sub-systems, namely plume exposure pathway, emergency worker, ingestion exposure pathway and post accident recovery measuring sub-systems. The main facilities for the monitoring system are concluded as one station, one helicopter, one laboratory and two vehicles. The instrumentation for complement of the facilities and their good performance characteristics, up-to-date technology are also introduced in brief. The offsite emergency radiation monitoring system and technology are compared in detail with those recommended by FEMA U.S.A.. Finally the paper discusses some trends in development of emergency radiation monitoring system and technology in the developed countries

AbstractAbstract
[en] Calculations with the Monte-Carlo method were performed for red bone marrow dose, equivalent dose weighted by the stem cell survival rate and dose depth disribution in the phantom, which was supposed to be exposed to three different gamma radiation fields: a broad paralled one with energies between 0.025 and 6.0 MeV, under the condition of rotated exposure, the aligned and expanded one with energy of 1.25 MeV, and a fallout gamma radiation field. As a result, except for low energy (lower than 0.05 MeV) and a point source radiations at short distance (less than 2 m from phantom center), the mean red marrow dose is in agreement with the equivalent dose weighted by stem cell survival rate within 2%. The results suggest that the gamma dose monitoring instrument used in the fallout radiation field may successfully be calibrated with the broad parallel gamma radiation of 1.25 MeV under the condition of rotated exposure

AbstractAbstract
[en] The article deals with the Monte Carlo calculation of the convension factor H' (0.07)/Da in β radiation field on VAX-II/785 computer, where H' (0.07) is directional dose equivalent defined in ICRU Report 39, Da is the absorbed dose in air. The theoretical calculation value of this convension factor is given, which is in agreement with the experimental value given by PTB's authors of FRG

AbstractAbstract
[en] The study of TL mechanism is complicated by the fact that all impurities including Mg,Cu,P as well as oxygen play a role.A complete description of the TL mechanism should be able to explain the role of each impurity and the distinct differences between LiF:Mg,Cu,P and LiF:Mg,Ti.Much research on TL property and mechanism has been carried out.To compare the TL property and mechanism of LiF:Mg,Cu,P with that of LiF:Mg,Ti will help to investigate further TL mechanism, improve characteristics of LiF:Mg,Cu,P and develop a new material.Role of impurities in LiF:Mg,Cu,P is described briefly. AbstractAbstract
[en] Objective: To research the spatial distribution of personal absorbed dose (Dp(10)) about instant neutrons and γ-radiations at different ranges in the explosive field of neutron bomb. Methods: based on the analysis to the construction and the explosive principle of neutron bombs, a model for calculation was built, and Monte Carlo method was used. Results: Some features about personal absorbed dose (Dp(10)) of instant neutrons and γ-radiations at different ranges in space were observed. Conclusion: The authors hold that the strong γ-radiations would accompany the high-energy neutron radiation in the explosive field of neutron bombs. Meanwhile, the authors evaluated the killing effect of the instant radiation from a 1 kt neutron bomb
