AbstractAbstract
[en] Basic problems are treated of the structure of atom nuclei, their properties and nuclear transformations. Also discussed are radioactivity, the problems of scattering, nuclear reactions, force actions between nucleons, nuclear models, and weak interactions. The book is theory-oriented and represents a classical approach to a textbook of atom nucleus physics. It describes fundamental nuclear experiments using consistently the quantum mechanical apparatus for explanations. (S.P.)
