AbstractAbstract
[en] Separated longitudinal and transverse structure functions for the reaction 1H(e,eprime pi+)n were measured in the momentum transfer region Q2=0.6-1.6 (GeV/c)**2 at a value of the invariant mass W=1.95 GeV. New values for the pion charge form factor were extracted from the longitudinal cross section by using a recently developed Regge model. The results indicate that the pion form factor in this region is larger than previously assumed and is consistent with a monopole parameterization fitted to very low Q2 elastic data

AbstractAbstract
[en] We present measurements of the recoil proton polarization for the 1H(gamma-vector,p-vector)pi0 reaction for thetac.m.pi = 60o-135o and for photon energies up to 4.1 GeV. These are the first data in this reaction for polarization transfer with circularly polarized photons. Various theoretical models are compared with the results. No evidence for hadron helicity conservation is observed. Models that employ factorization are not favored. It appears from the strong angular dependence of the induced polarization at photon energies of 2.5 and 3.1 GeV that a relatively high spin resonance or background amplitude might exist in this energy region

[en] We present the first precision measurement of the spin-dependent asymmetry in the threshold region of 3He(e,e(prime)) at Q2-values of 0.1 and 0.2 (GeV/c)2. The agreement between the data and non-relativistic Faddeev calculations which include both final-state interactions (FSI) and meson-exchange currents (MEC) effects is very good at Q2 = 0.1 (GeV/c)2, while a small discrepancy at Q2 = 0.2 (GeV/c)2 is observed

AbstractAbstract
[en] The ratio of the proton's elastic electromagnetic form factors, GEp/GMp was obtained by measuring Pt and P(ell), the transverse and the longitudinal recoil proton polarization, respectively. For elastic ep → ep, GEp/GMp is proportional to Pt/P(ell). Simultaneous measurement of Pt and P(ell) in a polarimeter provides good control of the systematic uncertainty. The results for the ratio GEp/GMp show a systematic decrease as Q2 increases from 0.5 to 3.5 GeV2, indicating for the first time a definite difference in the spatial distribution of charge and magnetization currents in the proton
