AbstractAbstract
[en] The application of two high-voltage pulse generators (HVPG) for supplying wide-gap spark chambers is discussed. The use of the pulse supply of the second ''recording'' HVPG increases the chamber operation reliability. Experimentally obtained distributions of output pulse amplitudes and time delays during the ''recording'' HVPG operation are given

AbstractAbstract
[en] To study effect of strip line construction upon attenuation coefficient its experimental study for strip lines of different geometric shape, extension and value of interelectrode gap has been conducted. Oscillograms of high-voltage pulses, illustrating just insignificant change of shape and impulse amplitude, decrease along distribution line for two types of lines: with interrupted system of discharge gaps and continuous system of discharge gaps. Analysis of the results obtained for strip lines of different configuration and valUes of interelectrode gaps has shown that attenuation coefficient of high-voltage impulse in the investigated real constructions by 1.5-2 orders exceeds the calculated values. It is established that with the increase of electric field gradient value attenuation increase is observed. Results of the investigations point to possibility of construction of streamer chambers several meters long which permits to simultaneously measure impulses and primary specific ionization of charged particles using the method of counting the number of streamers at the track length

AbstractAbstract
[en] Using regression analysis, analytical models have been obtained for the concentration dependence of density, electric conductivity and light refractive index of HNO3 solution from 0 to 3 mol/l and of UO2(NO3)2 solution from 0 to 2 mol/l in the temperature range from 25 to 40 deg C. The model errors made up for density +-0.07%, for electric conductivity +-1.5% and for light refractive index +-0.02%. The possibility to obtain the reverse dependences - for acid and salt concentrations as functions of density, electric conductivity and temperature with the model errors +-1% is also shown. The models can be used in the methods of the composition determination of the given system from the results of measurements of two properties at a known temperature. Then, in the limits of the model errors +-1%, the determination of concentration values of the order of 1 to 3 mol/l can be made in the presence of microcomponents at their summary concentration up to 0.02 mol/l

AbstractAbstract
[en] A new version of the booster, where beams of nuclei to be stored and accelerated up to 200 MeV/amu (protons up to 650 MeV) is proposed for the accelerator complex at the Laboratory of High Energies, JINR. Now operation linac LU-20, which accelerates ion beams with energy 5 MeV/amu and charge to mass ratio q/A>=0.3 is used as an injector. The booster with circumference of 50 m repetition of the cycles 1 c-1 substantially enlarges the possibility of the experiment on the nuclotron beams. By means of the multiturn storage in the booster and 5 injection cycles in the main ring the intensity of the heavy ion beams has to increase more than a factor 10. For protons and deuterons it will be about 1013 ppp. One of the long straight sections is designed for electron cooling, which will reduce the beam emittance in 10-100 times and give momentum spread to 10-4-10-5. Apart from the operation for the main ring the booster can be used independently for research on its inner and outer targets in the wide range of energies. 7 refs.; 8 figs.; 4 tabs

AbstractAbstract
[en] An attempt has been made to calculate the bandwidths of isolated sum resonances of the third and fourth order. From Hamiton's equations and invariants of motion expressions for the effective potential are derived which are examined by the methods of elementary cathastrophe theory. The final result is expressed by the formulae giving the opportunity to evaluate the bandwidth of all sum resonances of the third and fourth order. Solutions of Hamiltonian's equations are obtained in the form of elliptic functions for the resonances mentioned, an estimate for the development time for the resonance is given and a scheme for calculation of the resonances of higher order is proposed

AbstractAbstract
[en] The extraction of Co(NO3)2 by TBP, DOSO and 2-nonyl pyridine-N-oxide in n-C7H16, CCl4, C6H6, CHCl3 as well as the extraction of UO2Cl2 by TBP and DOSO solutions in the same solvents is studied. It has been found that the stoichiometry of the Co(NO3)2 and UO2Cl2 extraction in contrast to CoCl2 and UO2(NO3)2 depends on the nature of solvent and extractant. For the studied systems extraction constants are determined. Calculated by their values free oversolvation energies of extractable complexes in case of their transfer to the given medium from CCl4 in perfect approximation are proportional to the number of CH2-groups in the molecule. On the basis of the rule of solvation additivity it is shown that anion oversolvation of the extractable complex makes but a small contribution to the variation of extraction constant in case of solvent change. The theorefically eXpected for this case correlations of UO2Cl2L2 extraction constant with UO2(NO3)2L2 and Th(NO3)4L3 extraction constants have been found

AbstractAbstract
[en] It is shown that through the use of mathematical planning of experiments properties of concentrated nitrate-nitric acid solutions can be described according to limited number of experiments with acceptable error depending on three factors: concentration of nitric acid and sodium, potassium or cesium nitrates and temperature. The description is carried out in a form of statistical interpolation models - polynomials for the density of the second order, for viscosity and electric conductivity of solutions of the 3d order. The density of solutions has been measured and described with errors from 0.005 to 0.007%, viscosity - from 0.2 to 1%, and electric conductivity - from 0.5 to 2%. Experimental data for ternary systems - unsaturated solutions - have been compared with the literature data for binary systems acid-water and salt-water. The convergence of calculated and literature data stays within above mentioned values of model errors
