AbstractAbstract
[en] The compartmental analysis of biological system is dealt with on several chapters devoted successively to: terminology; a mathematical and symbolic account of a system at equilibrium; different compartment systems; analysis of the experimental results. For this it is pointed out that the application of compartmental systems to biological phenomena is not always without danger. Sometimes the compartmental system established in a reference subject fails to conform in the patient. The compartments can divide into two or join together, completely changing the aspect of the system so that parameters calculated with the old model become entirely false. The conclusion is that the setting up of a compartmental system to represent a biological phenomenon is a tricky undertaking and the results must be constantly criticized and questioned

On a traite de l'analyse compartimentale des systemes biologiques en quelques chapitres consacres successivement: a la terminologie; a un rappel mathematique et symbolique d'un systeme en etat d'equilibre; aux differents systemes compartimentaux; enfin a une analyse des resultats experimentaux. A cet effet, on a precise que l'application de systemes compartimentaux aux phenomenes biologiques n'est pas toujours sans danger. Il arrive que le systeme compartimental etabli chez un sujet temoin vienne en defaut chez le patient. Les compartiments peuvent se dedoubler, s'unifier, donnant au systeme un visage totalement different, les parametres calcules avec l'ancien modele devenant totalement faux. [en] This lecture is concerned with the use of DMSA 99mTc in nephrology. It described human pharmaceutic and clinical applications of this radiopharmaceutical. As DMSA 99mTc concentrates actively in the proximal convoluted tubule, it gives an image of functional renal mass. Its integrity is dependent upon several factors, predominantly intrarenal blood flow and intact enzyme function. Its role in pathology is clear in pyelonephritis, hydronephrotic kidney and pediatric diseases. The irradiation dosimetry of DMSA 99mTc is well established, the critical organ is the renal cortex which receives between 15 and 250 mGy per MBq. Dosimetry remains favourable for the patients if compared with intravenous urography

[en] 111In DTPA is very suitable as a radiopharmacon for the investigation of the cerebrospinal circulation in the case of brain tumors. Its kinetics are good regarding the cerebrospinal circulation, and by its gamma radiation and its gamma energy a good external palpation is possible. [en] Explorations of Nuclear Medicine require administration of a radioactive compound having a tropism for an organ or a group of cells with a specific physiology or metabolism. Visualization of a radioactive pattern is performed by the detection of gamma rays and their transformation by a NaI crystal and photomultiplier tube into an electric signal. Devices used had a tremendous evolution for twenty years passing a ponctual to a surface detector (ß Camera) having a constant unproving of sensitivity and resolution and allowing by rotating a three dimension detection and computerized ß and ß+ tomographies

Les explorations de medecine nucleaire impliquent l'administration d'une substance radioactive possedant un tropisme pour un organe determine ou un groupe cellulaire defini par une propriete physiologique ou metabolique precise.
