AbstractAbstract
[en] The aim of this work is to synthesize water-absorbing hydrogels based on acrylamide polymerization, to study the effect of crosslinking agent concentration on the degree of hydrogel swelling. According to the results of the study, it can be concluded that the swelling of the gel decreases with increasing concentration of crosslinking agent. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The sorption activity of pectin substances and hydrogel based on them with different contents of calcium ions in relation to bilirubin was studied in vitro experiments using blood plasma of patients with elevated bilirubin levels. It has been shown that the sorption ability of polysaccharide in relation to bilirubin appears after a fairly certain content of calcium ions, which is apparently due to shielding of the charges of carboxyl groups by metal ions.

AbstractAbstract
[en] The results of hydrolysis-extraction of proto pectins of sunflower basket and beet pulp at different ph, temperature 85 deg C and reaction time 60 min are presented. The hydrolysate solution was separated into fractions: micro gel, pectin substances and oligosaccharides according to the previously developed methodology. The hydrolysis-extraction process is assumed to involve combinations of at least three types of reactions: salt hydrolysis, hydrolysis of ester and glycosidic bonds. Depending on the metal ion content of pectin substances and the concentration of hydrogen ions on the one hand, and the strength of proto pectin binding to cell wall substances on the other hand, the optimum ph and temperature rates during the extraction of pectin polysaccharides vary considerably, which is a consequence of changes in the proportion of the above reactions. AbstractAbstract
[en] Based on chemical analysis of the content of cobalt and zinc ions in the external adsorption solution and adsorption values, sorption isotherms were constructed for the pectin hydrogel of the sunflower basket. It has been shown that adsorption of both ions by pectin hydrogels occurs via a point binding mechanism. Based on the sorption data, the apparent binding constants of ions by the sunflower basket hydrogel and the change in the isobaric potential of the sorption process were calculated. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Based on the data on the sorption of copper ions by pectin substances and hydrogels based on them in an aqueous medium and in an acetate buffer, the values of the maximum capacity of hydrogels, the adsorption equilibrium constant and the change in free energy were determined. The data obtained indicate the significant role of hypothetical ion exchange process in the studied systems. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The purpose of the work was to study the complex formation ability of pectin polysaccharides in relation to bilirubin. The objects of the study were pectin substances from sunflower heads and hydrogels based on them. Sorption of bilirubin was carried out in the concentration range of 521-22 µmol/l and ph=10.5. It has been shown that the level of reduction of bilirubin in solution for both sorbents reaches from 60 to 80%, and the sorption value for the micro gel at high concentrations is almost 50 µmol/g.
